Weekend away
The staff was very helpful and breakfast was quite good. The room was average. Our weekend was wet or overcast. So we didn't do much outside. It looks like a nice place in the Summer for families or Skiers in the Winter. Great view out of the window wall in the Grill. Probably a good place for a conference.

You will be disappointed
The room was very dirty and in need of repair. The whole hotel needs updating. Very disappointing and certainly not worth the money. I would not stay there again. The one plus was that it was quiet.

Family over nighter
I have always loved this hotel. My only negative is not having a coffee station. Most every hotel or motel has a place you can go and get a cup of coffee any time. I needed a cup of coffee when I arrived (2 1/2 hrs driving) and needed to go to the bar for it. 2 6oz cups of coffee cost me $6.36!!!! OMG I am still in shock. I had planned on eating in the dining room that night but after the sticker shock on the coffee I was afraid of what actual food would cost. There is a coffee pot in the room but from past experience I remember how awful it was. Needless to say I made coffee runs to the Turkey Hill from than on. I still love the place and will go back. Beautiful area.

Amici's Pizza. The best pizza and great price. I beleive they will even deliver to the hotel. Very nice people there. When we got there they were closing but still kept the kitchen open long enough make 4 pies for us. And they did it with smiles and courtesy. Also, if you're a coffee drinker take your own pot or go to Turkey Hill for your morning joe.

Great Family Vacation
I've stayed at this hotel before and although I was looking to stay at a duplex room, I found that I still enjoyed the service, people that worked there and their food. Great location!

"THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!"
This may have been one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. I know it was New Years Eve Weekend but really? My wife and I were there with 5 other couples. We had our 2 dogs. Our room was not bad mainly cause my wife cleans every room she ever stays in before we do anything. But the room next door, my sister in law and friends, had the foulest odor when you were inside of it. I want to be more descriptive but I don't want this post deleted. You know where I am going with that. No more rooms available so they had to stay in there until the following day where they were upgraded to a non fecal smelling room. Just so many things about the rooms such as door not properly closing, gifts from previous guests such as garbage behind and under the beds and half drank pots of coffee cause of such diligence from the cleaning crew. The hallways were caked with garbage. Normal items like trays from rooms being left out for pickup. When pickup doesn't happen for three days, things get even grosser. Lets not mention the random articles of clothing seen throughout the hallways and hair extensions and assorted filth. Now the food. We had the misfortune of eating here twice. When we first got there we happened upon the tail end of their "supreme buffet" and it was the worst food I have eaten in the longest time. The breakfast was possibly worse!!! I could go on forever but if I can help anyone reading this, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!! IT IS THE WORST PLACE ON EARTH!!! STAY A LITTLE FARTHER IN TOWN BECAUSE IT IS WELL WORTH IT!!! Also, would rate no stars but wouldn't let me and be able to post this

Excellent Hotel
The location is central to many highlights the poconos has to offer. The price is reclatively fair compared to what is offered. I wish they had a list of restaurants and places that are open past 10pm.
