We wanted to have a better room because they were under renovations. The person at the front desk decided they would cancel our reservation. We tried to talk to the manager. The person Was rather rude. Our advise: Go somewhere else. At the end that is what we díd. Luckily we found a better hotel. We paíd a little more but it Was worth the price.

Good value, comfy beds. Right along main road, The beds were very comfortable and the price was value range

Rooms have not been updated in quite some time and man at front desk was not very welcoming. Pool was best part of whole experience.

We arrived at 2am from NC. The greeting was curt, rude, and basically I was annoying him because he had to get out of bed to check us in. The next day, on July 4th, we returned to the hotel after 11pm, because we were out late visiting family in the area and attending fireworks late. We found our room had not been cleaned. A "do not disturb" sign was hung on the door and a card saying "sorry, you had your sign up"... well, we NEVER put that sign up and I wanted that room cleaned! So we go to the office to get clean towels to shower (their idea of clean left a lot to be desired as well, old yellow stains on the towels were pretty gross). Well, we are told NO, we cannot have clean towels until morning~!?!? Are you serious? YES, they were serious. This is the WORST treatment I have EVER received at a hotel. Do these people not understand they are in the hospitality business? I guess where they come from, they don't care about basic hospitality! I went to Wal-mart the next day and bought beach towels so I would have my own clean towels. Will never stay here again. Would NEVER recommend this place even to my worst enemies because I just don't treat people like that. The next night, we saw people walking from the office with towels they had just received from the office (we asked them!). I guess they decided to keep some towels in the office after our tirade. Too little, too late!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! The staff is MISERABLE. This is supposed to be a hotel however they don't know the meaning of hospitality! We requested towels after they didn't clean our room because they don't know the difference between the "yes clean" and "don't disturb" sides of the sign and they told us NO! Then we asked if we could get towels from an empty room, they said they were full but the vacancy sign was lit up outside! The next night we WATCHED them give towels to other guests of similar nationality to themselves, but had refused us the night before! On top of all that there were questionable stains on all the sheets and the maid never cleaned the wad of hair out of the drain that was there when we got there! We were stuck there for four nights. I can't even believe this website would associate itself with this hotel. I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Checked in on Friday evening and stayed until Sunday morning. Basically only needed somewhere to spend the evenings. My sister and I just needed to getaway and had come for the shopping. Only complaint really was with the housekeeping done on Saturday... The only thing could tell that was done was that we were provided with clean towels. The ashtray was not emptied, the toothpaste was not replenished (not a big deal since we had brought our own) and no new cups were left. The location was great. Everything we had wanted to do was within a few miles. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

Was not happy to find out I had to pay an additional $20 for a porta-crib. Felt it should have been included in the cost of the room - after all I paid for 5 people which included an 11 month old.Beds were comfortable but rooms need a little tender loving care and refurbishing. Nice to have 3 double beds in a spacious room. Would have been great if we had a microwave to heat baby's food.

staff not friendly at all. We really appreciated the 3 double beds in our room. I have never stayed anywhere with 3 beds in one room. It was perfect for a girls getaway weekend.

My family went to the Day Out With Thomas at Strasburg RR, and stayed 2 nites in this motel. We had stayed there last year,and this year, more of the family went and we had two connecting rooms. The location was perfect, everything was perfect, and we'll be back again next year..
