Quiet, convenient, clean and friendly
I always stay here because of its convenient location to my relatives who live locally. The rooms are quite and the planes cannot be heard, The best thing about the hotel is the staff - always out going and helpful. Also, It has lots of good parking and is exceptionally convenient to the airport for those 6:00 am departures. The only shortcoming I've ever seen is some of the cleaning staff smoke outside the front doors in the morning. I would suggest that they do it in the back since such a practice brings down the excellent overall impression of this hotel and ----- it is an Excellent place to stay.

Try Doc's Oyster Bar at "The Shops at Montage (Ski) Mountain" if you like seafood or Anthony's on Main Street in Old Forge for fantastic Italian.

Rest for the Weary
I stayed 4 days, 3 nights at this hotel while helping my son and his family settle into a new home. The desk clerk was warm and accommodating in booking an extra room for his family -- boxes were everywhere in his house, beds weren't set up, etc. The smiles continued: the desk clerk and the breakfast hostess connected well with each traveler. I felt welcome and at home, and appreciated the haven. Breakfast bar was excellent, 24-hour coffee service was greatly appreciated, and the afternoon popcorn a great pick-me-up. Overall great experience.

The Wilkes-Barre Wyoming mall is a short drive away down PA 315 or I-81. Great shopping, great variety.

Fantastic getaway, never been to the Eas
nice vacation, never been to the East Coast, was able to have company in my room, friends and family for get togethers.

house keepping : poor, beds slopppily made, one side of bed ruffle hanging in floor, other side too short, also short at the end. need new mattress bad, rugs dirty. House keepers, very friendly and cooperative with your needs .

Had better, had worse
I reserved a smoking room [...] but ended up with a non smoking room with no ability to switch. The shower curtain was filthy. The rest of the room was in great shape, the breakfast spread was a lot more than any of us expected.

TERRIBLE!!!!
[...]. This hotel room smelled SO bad that my clothes that sat in my suitcase still smell. If you stay here, beware!

Nice place to stay, very accomodating
When we first checked into the room, the air conditioner was vibrating loudly, they sent someone to check it right away. They gave us another room. The room was clean; bedding was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The continental breakfast had a nice assortment of items. However, the breakfast was only available till 9:30am - forget it if you're a late riser!

In Hotel
Make sure you wake up early to get the continental breakfast as there are no other local diners or restaurants close by. We ate at Bagel Meister located in a strip mall in Scranton.

great location near the air port
I ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT. I LIKE THAT IT IS SO CLOSE TO THE HOLTEL.

nice hotel
nice hotel, staff very nice, outdoor pool secluded and nice. restaurants are a drive away. there is one next door, that we did not try ..it closes around 10pm. free bkfst was very nice , no need for more than was offered. we used the hotel as our base and took trips from there.
