Baseball week-end

The Westin proved exceptionally clean and convenient for our week-end to catch the Pirates play at PNC Park. Much cheaper week-end parking exists in nearby lots however.

Great one night stay

A few friends and I reserved the room for the Pittsburgh St. patrick's day festivities. Our room was very nice and the bedding was SO comfortable. we took advantage of the Spa/Pool area, which was very relaxing. Check out was a breeze.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Some of the Best gay bars in Pittsburgh are less than 100 feet away from the front door. Not to mention the Convention Center and the african American history center.

Westin Convention Center, Pittsburgh

Stayed here for the Steelers/Chargers Sunday Night Football game. This is the second time I've stayed here and have enjoyed both experiences. The front desk is always super friendly and helpful and you have to love it when workers have fan apparel on. Rooms are always nice and spacious, very clean. The door doesn't seem to block out noise very well, but that's probably to be expected from any door really. Love the showers they have here with the dual shower heads (one positioned above the other), makes taking a shower very enjoyable. Location is a little bit off the way from the heart of downtown, but easy short walk to anywhere, including the Strip District.

Excellent escape

Check-in was flawless with a very professional clerk who took time to ask where we were from and what plans we had for the evening. No information was given about morning coffee being served or where to find more information.

Fabulous Hotel, Great Location

This particular Westin is amazing. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The bedding-amazing and the mattresses SO COMFORTABLE. We spent New Years Eve at this location. Within walking distance to just about everything. If you don't want to walt the hotel offers shuttle service to Station Square and other locations. The hotels restaurant "The Original Fish Market"....was supurb! Great food, atmosphere. We will indeed be back!
