Super 8 Pittsburgh Harmarville

The front desk clerk seemed annoyed that I bothered her to register. The continental breakfast typifies "you get what you pay for".

Reservation was made for five guests. Online reservation stated two double beds. I requested a roll away bed. When we checked in they only had a room with one bed for five people. The manager said it happens often.

The Carpet was very dirty, The tub was plugged twice , and the bathroom ceiling was full of black mold, We called staff about the plugged tub and were told that there was no maintaince available. Will not stay at this motel again, as my husband and I had to stay in Pittsburgh for surgery. We even used our military discount but it was still not worth the cost of the room. Nice way to treat a veteran!!

When I arrived, (which was two hours beyond the stated check in time), my room wasn't ready. The front desk clerk didn't know when it would be ready. When I pressed (I had an appointment to make), he didn't have much to offer as a solution, finally tossing me a key to a different room temporarily, so I could change clothes. I still don't understand why I couldn't have just had that room... Eventually, my room was ready... it was clean, but musty smelling. Had the desk clerk been more helpful, it wouldn't have been too big a deal, but he was unfriendly, and unhelpful.

Called for directions and the person at the front dest could not give the exit number or the correct name. Room was clean and would have slept ok accept the train kept us awake. The continental breakfast was not much, but otherwise ok for the price.

Not much to rave about, but the pillow was good. Shower didn't have much water pressure. Location was good in terms of fast food, but not if you want a better restaurant.

While the staff tries hard to please, this hotel needs a major facelift. The rooms are dingy and smell musty, wifi didn't work in my room (which was jvery close to the front desk so strength of signal should not have been an issue), and the continental breakfast was very limited and far below what comparable hotels normally offer. Additionally, the location is across the street from the train tracks, so noise can be an issue.

This was a fine place. Nothing was special, but everything was fine.

Stayed overnight prior to the Steeelers Game. Room was a King Suite. Was very happy with my stay especially at the price I got it. Nothing fancy but good clean safe accomomidation.
