Wonderful first trip Pittsburgh

I surprised my husband on his birthday with a trip to Pittsburgh and Steelers tickets. We had never been to this beautiful city before. The Omni William Penn Hotel was amazing. So much history, beautiful lobby and rooms. We were able to walk EVERYWHERE. The stadium, museums, art galleries and symphony. It is all right there. They also have an easy to use public transport system. It saved us $48.00 by taking the bus back to the airport rather then a taxi! One thing we enjoyed most was the people. The hotel staff had a birthday cake waiting in our room for my husband. (I didn't even request it) Nice surprise! Great hotel, great location, great people.

A great weekend

We always enjoy the William Penn. Lots of ambiance and old world charm. Terrace restaurant is a Pittsburgh classic. The room was a good size and the housekeeping staff took good care of us. We will return.

Steeler Fest

The Omni William exceeded my expectations. First the staff was very accomodating as we arrived early in the morning. Later my son cut his leg pretty bad outside the hotel so he needed some bandages. They did not have any at the front desk but he contacted security and they brought bandages and antiseptic spray. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only negative comment was that the hallways and room were a little warm. We opened the windows in the room and it was fine.
