Beautiful lobby- room lack temp control
The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating and the hotel is a walk to most things you would want to see in Pittsburgh. My only complaint is that you have absolutely NO control over the temperature. Because its such an old building they control the heat and AC from a central unit. Our room was STIFLING. Finally after several hours of tossing and turning (and sweating) I called the front desk. Obviously there isn't much they could do but someone was kind enough to bring a box fan up and we put it near our window with it open for the rest of the night. It was 40 degrees outside and I still had to sleep with just a sheet on. Perhaps they should consider that you can always add more blankets but there is only so many layers you can get rid of.

Beautiful Hotel
The hotel was wonderful, but the heat in the room doesn't work well. We called down to the front desk and they said since it was an old building with a boiler system that it takes a long time to heat up. We had the heat turned up overnight and it barely warmed up. But overall really great.

My overall stay was fantastic. The hotel staff was fantastic. Especially a young lady at the front desk named Ginelle. My room service was great and the housekeeping staff were amazing. Great visit. I will return to this nostalgic hotel again, and again! Best place to stay in Pittsburg.

Pittsburgh is better when staying at the Omni William Penn!
From the time we drove up, to the time we left, the Omni William Penn over delivered on our expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and the room was perfect. As with most high end hotels, the food is overpriced, but you get what you pay for. There is a Dunkin Donuts and Bagel Shop just a block away if you are looking for a quick and cheap breakfast. I will be staying at this hotel every time we come back to Pittsburgh. We were traveling with our 5 month old daughter and the hotel was very accommodating.

Very nice place
The room was very nice - there was tea instead of just coffee, very comfy bed, tv quality seemed pretty good, nice shower and soap. Apples and lemon water by the front desk in the morning was nice. We were in a non-smoking room, though at some point before drifting to sleep, I noticed the faint smell of smoke, but it wasn't enough to prevent me from falling asleep. It's not noticeable when you're moving around the room though.
