Ideal location for shoppers and sightseers visiting Pittsburgh
Kids age 12 or under eat and stay free at this Holiday Inn located six miles north of Pittsburgh. Ross Park Mall, with hundreds of stores and restaurants, is just down the street. Guests enjoy free wireless Internet, free parking, and free use of the hotel's fitness center and outdoor pool, and access to a 24-hour business center.

This is an okay place to stay. Not much options for the area. Have stayed here before and always the same. Not bad but not great. Price can vary and not always worth what you pay when you stay. Other times the price is worth it.

I booked a room thru [...]for 2 queen beds, specifically because my 19 year old son was travelling with me. When I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that there were only 2 rooms left for the evening 1 king bed in a handicapped room and 1 queen bed. Neither option was suitable. The best they were able to offer was a roll away bed. Had this room not been prepaid, I would have declined to stay. Very poor service. I believe that if you are told when reserving a room that this type is available then it should be available upon arrival!

Beds are all springs and not comfortable
The rooms need a total update. The beds were all springs and no mattress. Very uncomfortable. Dirty looking room. I only stayed one night and had booked 3 nights.

Family travel value seeker
Wonderful 95th Birthday celebration
Much better than my last trip that the hotel had been booked with the wrong room-ice makers on each floor-easier access to the hotel-we had to make a u turn then go thru a shopping center to get to the hotel on top a steep hill-had to cut vacation short and leave at 8am instead of noon(which would have been very nice to have the later checked out)because of the steepness of the hill it started to snow heavy and we where scared of driving on the steep icy hill

to my grandmother's and the restaurant for her birthday if I could get a better rate then $99.00 a night I would use the hotel more when I go to visit her

it was just 'ok'
it was just ok. trying to actually get to the building was a little tricy at first, but we finally found where to go. the building itself shows sings of wear and age, but it was still clean. some parts of the hotel could use some updating, but it wasn't too bad. if you're not looking for anything fancy, this is just fine for a reasonable rate.

there is a really big, nice mall just about a mile or so down the road. that was a BIG plus.
