Hotel conveniently located near Pittsburgh's colleges and universities
Travelers doing business in Pittsburgh or at one of its universities will appreciate the hotel's location in the education district near Carnegie Mellon, Duquesne University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Horrible experience with elevator
Because one of the elevators was being repaired, I ended up walking up 5 flights of stairs to get to my room in the morning. Then my wife and I had to walk down 5 flights of narrow stairs will heavy luggage. And then a long wait to get our car out of valet parking. We're in our 60's--this was quite an ordeal for us-never staying here again.

Nice location
We were in town for the Pittsburgh Marathon and the location of the hotel was perfect. We were able to tour the Pitt campus and be very close to good food and also close to the start of the race. We will stay there for the next marathon!

Good location, but price is high
I lived in this Wyndham Pittsburgh hotel for 4 nights, the hotel is closed to Pitts Univ. and CMU, good location if you will visit these two universities. The price is high, but not include breakfast. It is easy to find something to eat outside. There is trash left in the trash bin when I first entered the room, the worker is careless in working. It is noise outside, there is an oil station opposited to the hotel.

PITT family visit
Even under some renovation things went smoothly and efficiently. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, modern,spacious and very clean. The bed was a little too firm, but comfortable. Will stay here again with no hesitation.

Wyndham Pittburgh Univ Place
Not at 3 stars. Lobby was in the process of being renovated and the room was somewhere between "long in the tooth" to "shabby". Peeling wallpaper, chipped fixtures in the bathroom. The heating was difficult to regulate and noisy, but the bed was comfy. Overall, a disappointment, except that it was within walking didtance to the client, so no need to rent a car,

HOTEL WAS OKAY, THE STAFF WAS AWESOME, AND FRIENDLY. THE HOTEL IS LOCATED near major bus routes so all around good deal!

Clean,large room and bathroom. Good location, easy to walk to restaurants and cultural attractions. Helpful staff. Wish I had a refrigerator in the room.

My six day stay was pleasurable!!
After relocating to New Jersey after college over 48 years ago, I wished to spend more than just a quick visit with family and friends. The Wyndham was centrally located for entertainment and sightseeing. The hotel staff made me feel at home due to their accomodating and professional attitude. I will not hesitate to make this hotel my first choice upon the next visit to Pittsburgh.
