Great for overnight Steelers game trip

Everything was great. If you are going out to a Steelers or Pirates game this is the place to stay. They offer a free shuttle almost anywhere you need to go and will also pick you up. The free morning breakfast is unreal. Rooms were nice and clean. The staff is the best around. Book with confidence.

short trip

The hotel wasn't bad even though it was next to highway. There was no refrigerator in the room, but there was free coffee and shuttle service within a three mile range of the hotel.

Parents Visit

My parents came to visit at CMU and they booked a hotel late so prices were sky high everywhere but here. This turned out to be an awesome hotel though, rooms are huge and comfortable with a giant HDTV. Breakfast is also superb with a waffle machine. A shuttle bus takes you whereever you want in the downtown region and picks you up when you're ready if you call. Just remember to specify non-handicapped room or you might get unlucky and not have a bathtub.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

(It's actually a medium walk.) There was a fantastic restaurant at Forbes and Oakland that was so excellent our party ate there three nights in a row! Great beer, too! The name is Fuel and Fuddle, or something like that.

Nice place to stay

Nice staff, clean room, good choices at breakfast. The only glitch was housekeeping forgot to stock new bath towels once, but sent them up immediately.
