Beware-This place is terrible!

I booked this room for two of my employees and right from the beginning the staff there was rude and hard to deal with. The hotel itself was decent for the price. The last day they were there I called the front desk and extended their stay for one more night. They had been working nights and were sleeping at 2 P.M. when someone that I presume was housekeeping burst in the room and proceeded to scream at them for over five minutes without ever asking them a thing. I book over a hundred rooms a year for employees and this is the worst hotel that we have ever booked.

Cheap Getaway

My friends and I were getting away for a few days to go golf and take in the town. Great value! Just bring your own iron and board, they didn't have one in the room. :-)

Further from downtown then it seems

We originaly booked our vacation for friday-sunday, we decided that we wanted to leave thursday instead and check in that night. it was a huge hassle on both 'orbitz' part and 'econo lodge' part. the econo lodge is about 15-20 mins away form downtown pittsburgh, alot further then we had anticipated..

Hotel

Took in a football game hotel was within 5 miles and was easy to get to the stadium. AC/heating unit was rather loud and there was only two towels in the bathroom to use could of had more available right in the room.

GOOD DEAL FOR THE MONEY

THE REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE OVEN WERE A VERY NICE TOUCH. HAVING AN ALARM CLOCK WOULD HAVE BEEN WELCOMED. THE MAID SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND THE CLERKS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION TO VARIOUS INTERSTATES AND HIGHWAYS MAKES NAVIGATION EASY. ALSO, IT'S NOT IN AN ISOLATED AREA, AS THERE IS A FAIRLY NEARBY MALL AND SHOPPING AND EATING PLACES. THERE IS A FAMILY STYLE RESTURANT RIGHT NEXT DOOR WITH GOOD FOOD. IF NOT FOR THE HARD BED WHICH MADE SLEEPING A BIT DIFFICULT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE BEST STAYS WE HAVE HAD IN A ECONOMY CLASS MOTEL.
