So So Stay
Hotel is old, well-used. Location OK except that taxi service practically impossible to get -- waited over an hour and, fortunately, one passing by saw us and stopped. Hotel staff unsympathetic to our plight. Probably would not stay there again.

Never again
The hotel was under construction and the place was a mess. We will never stay at a Days Inn again :( This hotel was right on the edge of the highways and we did not feel safe!

Clean. Comfortable bed. Minimalist, but fine for our needs. Very well-located and well-priced for Pittsburgh.

Decent hotel, Decent Price
The hotel was perfectly adequate. There wasn't anything special about it, but I have no complaints either. I will say that the common areas smelled of Indian food (because of a restaurant on site), but the rooms themselves smelled fresh and clean. A sign at the check-in desk caught my eye - it said that due to unforeseen difficulties, guests from Pittsburgh would only be allowed to stay one night. I asked the clerk what the "unforseen difficulties" were, and she said the policy is intended to cut down on the "working ladies" (those were her words!). I didn't notice anything like that at the hotel, so maybe the sign is working?

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
We visited the National Aviary, and had a great time. How often do you get to have birds snatching grapes and worms (eew) out of your hands?
