Roadside hotel with clean, convenient lodging near Pittsburgh
Days Inn Harmarville, conveniently located off the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 48, sits adjacent to King's Family Restaurant and McDonald's. the room has a lot of issues , the sink is designed to be out of the bathroom plus it is always bulged so if you wash your face the water buildup in the sink until it is about to flood. the matrices are not comfortable. the room has no heat , we were freezing.

Family Wedding
It was covenient and lots of parking area. Staff was pleasent and helpful. Beds were comfortable. The refrigerator waas noisy; had to turn it off to sleep...should be replaced..But we did use it for a little time. An old Days Inn but nice. Our Daughter said when she goes to Ohio in July 2012 she is definetely going to check for a Days Inn to make reservations! And there was plenty of food places in walking distance. Thank You for your help.

I was surprised with the room, it was comfy, clean and smelled clean. Are there any perfect Hotel rooms? It was right off the Interstate, for us it was the perfect location, restaurants nearby, gas stations and the college we were visiting only 20 minutes away at a very reasonable price. I would stay here again.

Convienent and comfortable
Very clean and quiet. Close proximity to P.A. Turnpike and City of Pittsburgh. walking distance to resturants, fast food and shopping. Would definetly stay again. Also price shopped other local Hotels and Days Inn was the best value

You get what you paid for
The hotel is located almost 30 mins away from downtown Pittsburgh, in rush hour, took us 1 hour n half to get where we needed to be :( , although there are fast food restaurants n grocery store close by. The room we got has really bad smell, carpet feels kind of dirty. Shower is only thing I liked there.

Pittsburgh Zoo n Aquarium is far away from the hotel, exit 6 on 28 S. We spent a whole day there, it was very nice, good 4 the whole family.

Clean, Comfortable Hotel - great price.
We found the hotel clean, comfortable and pretty quiet since we were off of a turnpike exit and near trains. The hotel staff was courteous and friendly. The area in the small lobby was were the continental breakfast was served and it was kind of hard to get around when lots of people were there at the same time; however, the food was fine and typical of a continental breakfast. Fine for the price.

Family visitors
Adequate, could be cleaner
It was close to many shopping areas, which was important to us, and nice to get a breakfast discount at 2 restaurants nearby. Coffee in the room was delicious, not so much in the lobby. It could have been a lot cleaner. The bathroom floor had dirt swept into the corners, and 3 days out of the week our bed wasn't made when we came back at the end of the day. Also, most of the time they turned our air conditioning down to 54 degrees, making our room unbearably cold for a while. Don't know why they did this.
