Convenient location and free extras for families with children
This newly renovated property, located off Interstate 376 (old 279), just three miles from downtown Pittsburgh, offers free continental breakfast and free high-speed Internet access. The hotel comes equipped with a modern fitness room, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, and full-service meeting facilities that accommodate groups of up to 200 guests. Three day conference
I booked this hotel for the apparent ease of travel but didn't realize how far everything was. The staff was so helpful and was able to figure a way for me to get around easily using the hotel transportation (Eva and Diane). The breakfast was nice but the cocktail hour was nicer. The best thing about the room was the bed. Everything was clean but the bed was very soft and comfortable. One complaint would be the smell of sulfur in the water. A little fridge would have also been nice. The only place within walking distance was the Kmart which actually came in handy for some supplies.

Mall, Not much left there but a Kmart. It is well stocked however and a great source for some forgotten supplies.

Good breakfast, clean room, heated pool not heated, staff very nice. All in all a good but not great hotel. Location was very convenient for our plans, but that's why we chose that hotel. Rooms were quiet, especially with all the drunk St. Patrick's day partiers. Next trip to Pittsburgh we might try to stay in the center of town.

Small rooms on top of adjoining rooms
Our experience was interesting to say the least. The rooms were very close to the adjoining rooms and we could hear the conversations (and other activities) of the people in the adjoining rooms. The room was pretty dingy and aged. However, for $80 its what I would expect.

long stay
2 weeks here was priced right and treated with a clean room and good staff. The reason I chose this hotel was the free shuttle to downtown areas. It worked like a charm and ran on time. Thanks for an enjoyable stay for a business trip

Best place for the money
This hotel is a great value. The bathroom left something to be desired, but the bed, TV, quietness, and excellent hotel staff made up for it! I will definitely stay here again.

The Duquesne Incline was a fun, inexpensive attraction, especially at night when you can see the city lights.

Close to city attractions
The shuttle to downtown was perfect. We were dropped off a restaurant and pciked up after the theater. The drivers were pleasant and efficient!

Only one night
We only stayed one night and it was very enjoyable. The breakfast was pretty standard. The room was clean and the bed was very very comfortable. The TV was very nice. The shower was hot in the morning. Some drunken idiots decided to knock on our doors and yell out for someone named Melissa at 3am, with a call down to the front desk the issue was quickly resolved. For our needs it was perfect, we were visiting for a wedding and only had a weekend to spare. But I would stay for a week at the hotel, it was a great value.
