The Windsor Suites

The Windsor Suites, PHILADELPHIA, PA is a great value for the money. The suite was very large with an equally large bedroom with 2 large queen size beds. The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated with modern fixtures and wall tile. Great location near museums and other historical landmarks, city hall and shopping - all within walking distance of the hotel. Ample continental breakfast included with the room. Friendly and accommodating staff. Since I am a frequent visitor to Philadelphia, I will definitely stay her again.

My sister and I recently enjoyed a one-night stay at the Hotel Windsor in downtown Philadelphia. Our first impression of our suite was good. The suite was well-appointed with a dishwasher (stainless steel inside), a gas stove, new refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, built-in microwave and a toaster. Pots, pans, plates and utensils were all included. The spacious front window afforded us a breathtaking view of St. Peter and Paul Basilica and the fountain in the square. I was perplexed to find that the water service in the hotel was to be sporatic for a few hours during our first day. The bathroom was a work in progress (although affording us a large walk-in closet). The hot water in our bath tub did not work - as a matter of fact, a plumber would have been required in order to figure out how to work the numerous knobs and valves - we washed up in the sink. The bathroom was spacious, but the tiles were coming up and the toilet seat was not fastened on one side. There were some drywall issues in the bathroom as well (newly installed and not entirely painted). The free breakfast consisted of standing in line to cook your own waffle (which we did not do). Overall, the room was surprisingly nice for the price we paid. It was perfectly located for our plans and the staff was very accomodating. This hotel was great for a short stay, but I would opt for a more expensive hotel along the parkway for a longer trip.

The staff at the Windsor Suites hotel were very friendly and most accommodating. All the rooms are suites. They were very clean and made you feel welcome. The location is ideal for visiting many of Philadelphia's museums. I would definitely go back for another stay.

Room was large and included a full kitchen with stove, microwave full refrigerator, dishwasher. Wireless internet connectivity on our floor(some floors are, apparently, still wired). Also had a large private balcony (unfortunately, this allowed some street noise even though we were on the 11th floor). The decor is a little dated, and the hotel, in general, is showing some age. The bed was overly soft and sagging. The air conditioning / heater did not sufficiently cool the room even on MAX (it was, however, an unusually warm April weekend). There is a small exercise facility available 24/7. A more than adequate complimentary Continental Breakfast is available. The adjacent parking garage is very convenient (valet parking is available for a flat daily rate). Overall, it was a good value, especially compared to other hotels in the area. We would stay there again.

Das Hotel ist echt klasse für den Preis. Negativ war nur, dass der Pool nicht so sauber war. Ansonsten waren wir voll zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Das Hotel liegt in ausgezeichneter Lage, alles ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und großzügig eingerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich. Fazit: unsere Empfehlung für alle die zum attraktivem Preis, direkt in Philadelphia alles zu Fuß erkunden und dabei auf keinen Komfort verzichten möchten.

Questo hotel è stato stupendo a dir poco!!! A parte che ci aspettavamo una camera, come tutti gli hotel, ma invece è un appartamento con tanto di cucina, balcone e ripostigli (una marea di stanzini) ma anche molto utile perché c'è la la lavanderia con tanto di detersivo in camera, lavatrice e asciugatrice che sono state comodissime! La posizione è ottima...ci è piaciuto molto, sicuramente da ritornare, sono stati anche gentili come personale e nel lasciarci lì la macchina mentre continuavamo il giro per la città!!
