Vacation

Perfect location for a tourist. We did miles of walking so would have liked a spa by the pool for a relaxing session at days end. Good bar and resturant. We liked having a small kitchen to keep beverages and fruit cold. The front desk personnel were all very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and would recommend it for anyone. We were able to leave our luggage after check out to do more sightseeing before needing to depart for the airport.

Nice Trip to Philadelphia^^

The price was better than most of other hotels in the city and City Line. The Studio w/2 dbl beds had a kitchen and was very spacious and clean. I'll stay here again. Stongly recommended!

Great value...exceeded my expectations

It was definitely near the museums and it wasnt a busy area at night so there was no problem sleeping. Our rom had 3 large closets o space wasnt a problem. They even had free breakfast for all 4 of us, which I didnt expect. All the staff were nice, friendly and helpful.

Excellent value

My husband and I were there for an overnight stay. We were a bit leary because of the low cost; however it was a very good value; spacious room; good view and quick and easy check in and check out. We asked for a late checkout and got it with courtesy and a smile. We travel frequently and are somewhat picky but we would definitely go back.

Great Location

When we arrived at the Windsor suites, our room wasn't the best. There were suspicious stains on the wall and a view of a roof. After some complaints, the very patient and kind staff gave us the option of two larger rooms with great views of Philly. The man who showed us to our room was kind enough to give us his opinion on the best place to get a cheesesteak! The Windsor is in the middle of the great tourist attractions. The Comcast Center is right behind the hotel, and three trolley stops are within walking distance from the hotel. I highly reccomend the Windsor!

Excellent!

We had a great stay. The Windsor Suites staff was super helpful and so very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My 9 year old son really enjoyed the roof top pool. The hotel was within walking distance of all the museums that we were in the city to visit and many others that we just didn't have time to see. The only negative comment I have is regarding the parking charge but that seems to be pretty common for hotels in this area. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

The Mutter Museum is a short walk from the hotel, a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth checking out.

My First Trip to Philly

My first visit to Philly was specifically to see an exhibit at the Franklin Institute. This hotel was close to the museum. Since we made the trip, we took time to see the sights. This is one of the better trips that I have taken.

If you have the chance and enjoy Italian food, try Portofino Restaurant on Walnut Street. Excellent food and service, not too expensive, and very friendly service.

Nope, not again

Not again! I Booked this hotel because of location and booked it again because I was coming back in a couple of days. This is a great example that pricy does not mean nicy! I walked in late and wanted to shower and go to sleep for work in the morning. I liked the bathroom and the decor but as soon as I laid down the bed was not comfortable and at 1030 my bed started rocking!! The walls are like mobile trailer walls and the bed is attached to the wall so when your neighbor rocks the bed, so does yours! The picture frame on the wall over the bed was bouncing off the walls and I thought it was going to fall on my head. Then they were slamming doors and scratching the walls, it was crazy I wanted out. The desk lady sent me a key to another room and it was a handicapp room that was a lot more spacious and nicer than the regular rooms. I laid down and even the bed was more comforatble, I slept like a baby. [...] I paid my $25 cancellation fee and booked another hotel for the next following days.
