Decent hotel in a great location

The staff was friendly and helpful. Fantastic location: can get to most places by walking or by public transportation. Parking garage is costly.

Good value for a center city hotel

Not a Four Seasons - but this hotel is a very good value for a center city hotel. I definitely have noticed an improvement in the staff since Sonesta took over the hotel as far as friendlyness and helpfulness of the hotel employees. My two gripes are the HVAC system is fair, although my most recent time worked very well. Secondly, I do really appreciate the free Wi-Fi, but it is a little slow. BTW, I have rarely experienced good Wi-Fi at any hotel. Still one can hope. Overall, I am pleased with the value of this center city hotel.

Girl's weekend

Staff was very professional and courteous. The restaurant/bar in the lobby also had a nice staff and was very convenient for late night drinks. And the coffee bar was perfect for early morning. We walked everywhere: to the new Barnes Foundation museum, to dinner at Rittenhouse Square, to Reading Market. I made the arrangements, and all the ladies were very happy with the hotel.

Great experience, the staff of the hotel very kind and helpful, I call when we were in our way to ask them to have my daughter's crip in the room by the time we would be there, since we were checking in at late night and they did it. Parking lot conveniently located next to the hotel. The hotel is located on Market street so it is very convenient and walking distance from mayor attractions in downtown. Next time we go to Philly we will definitely will stay there.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

If you travel with kids look for a hotel that is walking distance from main attractions so, if you need to go back for any reason ie, nap, lunch, diaper change you can do it without loose the rest of your day traveling back and forward!

Valet is awful

The pool had a lot of pigeons around it and didn't seem clean. However, the hotel itself was pretty nice. My issue was the valet. There was nobody in line and it takes them a turnaround time of 15-30 minutes to get your car and you cannot call ahead. Secondly, they left my car lights on and my car battery died. Seriously need to re-staff that,

Good for long weekend

The hotel and staff were wonderful. The only problem was a lack of maintenance. The towel bar fell of the wall and the air conditioner and clothes dryer filters must not have ever been cleaned. The parking fee felt like a complete rip off and the valet was the only staff member who was not pleasant and helpful. Other than these minor problems we had a great stay.

College Trip

Central location, easy to explore the city on foot. Close to train stations making it easy to get to and from the hotel by train quickly. Rooftop pool was lots of fun. Rooms are on the small side and could use some updating. Lobby cafe was convenient for a quick breakfast.
