Sofitel Philadelphia

Tried to request early checkin, front desk would transfer me to reservations, reservations told me to call front desk because we were there for a confernce. Front desk knew that before transferring us. Back to front desk...call reservations. Tried three days in a row finally gave up. First day we returnto the room around 4:15pm. Housekeeping never was in. 4:30 quick tap, housekeeping, open door. Tell her we're tired we've been since 7am and just returned, just give us new towels. We got for one of us, not two. A little after 5 another tap. Housekeeping, can we turn down your bed? The bed they didn't make that we did ourselves. No top sheet, just very heavy comforter. One we'd spend half the night kicking off because too warm, the other crawling under it to get warm. We sent the temp to 65 because it was so heavy. Beds are great if you like soft feels like cloud. I don't, much prefer firm and my back agrees with me. Shouldn't wake up with a back ache you didnt have before bed. Stayed at a hotel in Florida, third of the price rated budget. They had better service.

Beautiful room, great service, nice amenities, best price available for similary hotels. No complaints at all.

Staff members always friendly and polite. Hotel private car service an unexpected treat. Rooms well designed and very comfortable. Food sent up via room service very tasty. Getting a cab with the help of the gentlemen at the entry relieved much stress. Turndown service a nice touch. Just wish vacuum had been run once during our stay. A string and small amount of debris on the floor near the bathroom remained there throughout our 3 day stay. Otherwise unparalleled in quality. Would definitely return.

Love the Sofitel. This one is nice enough but needs renovation and isn't up to the level of others. Also, had to deal with noisy, inconsiderate patrons, which probably has to do with how cheap the hotel is in January and the fact that it's Philly after all.

Stayed on the 8th floor....bed was extremely comfortable..good wine selection in the hotel bar....staff was extremely friendly and very helpful....towels and linens were awsome..didn't expect the bathrobe!!!! Hallways were a bit noisy, but I think there were smaller children on my floor. Would definetely stay again when I am in the area.

No nothing missing

3 night stay while attending conference at the convention center. I was able to walk to the venue in about 12-15 min. Personnel delightful! Room spacious and comfotable. No coffee pot in the room howevere complimentary on ground floor. Much better value than hotels suggested by the conference planners and much better location.

I stayed at Sofitel for one evening, but I certainly wished I had a few more nights! The bathroom was marvelous and luxurious, as was the bed. Plus, the concierge was very helpful!

The Sofitel is in the heart of downtown. Easy walking to shopping, restaurants and clubs. Subway within walking distance as well. One of the more enjoyable hotel stays I can remember.
