Get your Francais fix at the Liberte Urban Chic restaurant, where both the cocktails and the pastries are precision-made, or settle in for some Continental-style brunch at the brasserie Chez Colette. Planet-21 certified for its use of eco-friendly practices and products, the Sofitel also has your personal health covered with an all-day fitness room.

Neighborhood
The Sofitel's City Center West location makes it an ideal base for exploring Philadelphia, starting with the French Quarter neighborhood of the hotel itself. Conference trip to Philly

Love the Sofitel. This one is nice enough but needs renovation and isn't up to the level of others. Also, had to deal with noisy, inconsiderate patrons, which probably has to do with how cheap the hotel is in January and the fact that it's Philly after all.

Best hotel in Philadelphia

Easy ride to hotel from airport plus easy parking downtown plus great staff, great junior suite plus great breakfast. Always stay downtown because Philadelphia is easy to walk, safe and has a plethora of quality restaurants. Never stay in the suburbs, Philadelphia invented cool!

Great for a quick romantic jaunt

This is the third consecutive year my girlfriend and I have ventured up to Philly from DC for a quick anniversary weekend getaway, and stayed at the Sofitel. The room is always immaculate, the bed incredibly comfortable and the bathroom chic elegant. The staff is wonderful, and always recognize that we are returning customers, we even got a free upgrade because we were celebrating out anniversary. Centrally located about a block from Rittenhouse Square and a ton of restaurants. A little pricey all around (room, drinks at the hip bar, and particularly parking), but well worth it.

Philly food fest

Older style of decor, no updates since 1998 probably. But, this is the best location in Philly hands down. Everything is walking distance. You will save big time on cab fares.
