Skyview Plaza Hotel and Suites A Master Hosts Hotel

My room was so bad I complained and was moved to another room. That room was marginally better, the only real differences being the door actually closed without having to lift it up and the floor had been cleaned. In both rooms there were yellow stains on the bed sheets. There were disgusting brown red and yellow stains on the mattress, noticeable because the sides of the mattress weren't covered by any sheets. There were stains on every single towel, yellow stains, brown stains, black stains. There were curly hairs in both rooms on the toilet and in the bath. The bathroom floor was sticky. There was muck in the gaps of the table. Topped off by a lovely view of an empty swimming pool, no water, not in use, just a White bowl in the ground collecting leaves. This hotel hasn't been touched since it was built, I'm guessing it's poor location lead to bad business and now the do the housekeeping at minimal cost. Don't be fooled by the words continental breakfast either, toast, corn flakes and orange juice is all you can expect. If you are getting on a taxi there from downtown watch out for con artist drivers who will charge you the fee it take to get to the airport instead of running the meter. Most people probably book this hotel because it is the cheapest in Phili. If you do as well make sure you bring your own UV ray.

We had needed to go to the convention center and came across this hotel after almost every other hotel was sold out and we needed to book a room right away before we were left without a room for the night. I came across this hotel and the price was great. After the reviews I was like no one I can't do this but I had no choice and it was a bang for the buck. You get all your basic amentities and cabs are available to the convention center or a bus if you didn't want to spend much money. This is great locations for the price.

Plaster falling off everywhere, moldings ripped up, electric socket fell off the wall, dirty bathroom floor, bedding that looked like it had not been changed.

This is the worst hotel I;ve ever stayed at. The outside has not been upkept. with cement cracking everywhere. The room had no iron in it with, I actually saw a roach in the bathroom early in the morning. I would run from this hotel. I"ll never stay here again!

was good for one night only for a place to sleep that was cheap &reasonably close to upenn. Otherwise, wouldn't go back.

There are only three ice machines, however the one on our floor does not work and the other one is leaking. There is not wifi (i.e. internet at the higher floor. Elevator is working properly but not very presentable. Overall maintenance needs improvement.

Check in was fine. After that it went totally downhill. Bugs in the bathroom. Not one working ice machine in the entire building. I actually got in ti an argument with the desk clerk about getting ice, as did another guest. He finally, reluctantly sent the van driver out to a store to buy ice. The only upside eas the van driver. Polite and couteous, getting us to the airport on time at 3:00 A.M. in 3 inches of snow and ice. I will NEVER stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!!

other then the fact we had a place to crash out after New Years Eve, this hotel is NASTY! i'm not joking when i say there was mold growing up our hotel wall! the water in the shower kept switching temperatures suddenly, and the worst part is the walls are paper thing! YOU CAN HEAR EVERYONES NIGHT TIME NOISES! i wish i had booked a hotel sooner so all the good ones weren't taking. i will never stay here or recommend this place to any one!

I was very impressed, especially for the low price

I booked this Hotel because I was going to the Eagles/Cowboys game. It was a great location. I walked from the hotel to the stadium even though a shuttle was provided. It was a ten minute walk. The hotel itself was average, but the staff was very friendly (you wont find a lot of nice people in Philly) When I go to another Eagles game I will stay here.
