University City hotel a favorite of visiting parents and academics
Conveniently located within walking distance to the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University campuses, the Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel is a favorite for visiting parents and academia. Amenities include a heated outdoor pool and sundeck, a 24-hour fitness center, an on-site restaurant and lounge and a business center. The nonsmoking guest rooms provide an in-room desktop computer with complimentary Internet access. The hotel also provides an on-site gift shop, florist and car rental desk.

safe location
Traveling alone with one night layover and wanted a safe, convenient place to stay away from the overpriced aiport type hotels. Great service, nice area, felt very safe taking a walk. Room had a great view of the city and the room service was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Convenient
The hotel is under renovation. Does not have a front lobby access by car. Their internet access via their roon PC is very, very slow. They do not give you any Penuts with the drinks at the bar. They charge $20 per day for parking snd did not see any body around to help you with the suitcases. A little dissappointing for a Sheraton and its was not cheap.

Good location for UPENN
The staff could've been a little nicer, but the location was about as close to Wharton (where I was visiting) as you can get.

Sheraton in the City
Comfortable, convenient, and pleasant experience. Was in town fora conference and the hotel provide the pefect location. Definitely recommend it for sigh seers, or anyone who wants to explore 'University City' philadelphia.

Short walk from hotel
Recommend checking out restaurants on Walnut street that have been recently updated as part of the Unov. Penn. remodeling effort. Very classy.

Nice hotel to stay for my visit
Clean, comfortable, very nice rooms. The staff were all very accommodating and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the easy location near UPENN and the hospitals--everything was within walking distance and very convenient.

Unparalleled location
Great location at the heart of UPenn; just a couple of blocks from Wharton. Hotel staff was very friendly and prompt to help. The restaurant is not up to the hotel standard whatsoever. Choose a different spot to have your meals.

Trip to Philadelphia
The location of this hotel is perfect. Very close to the university. Many restorants are a walking distance from the hotel. The Korean restorant in the hotel seems very popular, but I am not used to Korean food. Over all it was a good experience.
