Economy hotel
A little run down but this was what we expected after reading previous reviews. For the money we were happy with the hotel.( Also, contrary to some reviews the bedding was clean and without holes). The only problem was the distance from Philadelphia Historic centre - our mistake.-so would not recommend it if that was purpose of visit. A good economy hotel though if you need to be in that area and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby..

Good stay
RI provided a clean place to stay for a few days. For a short stay, the RI is accomendating and located in an area that provides a variety of shopping malls and resturants.

big room.... bad help
We came to Philly for a wedding. Needed a place to sleep and that was what we got. Definitely would not want to spend more time in the room then to sleep. The room was large and fairly clean. Although our sheets had cigarette burns in them and we had a non-smoking room. The staff was the worst part of the hotel. She was extremely rude and was not helpful.

KEYS AND THINGS AT THE DO DROP INN
Had major problems using door key.Twice had to have it refreshed.Was locked out after first day,back to checking desk(yuk).Went to get ice,found out you need room key otherwise NO ICE.Bed cover had large burned out area had to REQUEST REPLACEMENT.Toliet seat loose,requested fix,Never occured.

I like the Roosevelt Inn for the cost. It is at a good location close to public transporation.

The person that checked me in was very unpleasant. I was not pleased with her attitude she didn't ever look at me directly.She never gave a smile. The hotel could have been a little nicer for the price.

Theres a nice mall a short drive from the hotel and plenty of places to eat also a movie theater near by
