Adjacent to Phil Conv Center
Trying to decease my carbon footprint, and while seeking a job in Philly area. The Marriot is on Market central to the convention center and the Reading Terminal. This has reliable secure, fine rooms. Never enough personnel at check -in, but you can check out by TV.

Beautiful hotel
The Marriott was in an excellent location, within walking distance to Rittenhouse Square and Old Street. Our room was very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. We got a great price. I would absolutely stay there again.

Great Location and Accomodations
Location was great. Fitness Center (very important to me) was outstanding. Restaurant was appropriately priced and food was excellent. Service only a bit slow. Room very clean. Bed great. Hotel was within walking distance to wherever in downtown Phila I had to go. $10 for shuttle to airport was also good, and the timing of shuttles was very customer friendly. Staff very patient and helpful.

Nice place for business travels
Philadelphia Marriott Downtown is an excellent hotel. Room was pretty standard for downtown hotels, but cleaning staff did a fantastic job of room upkeep. I don't believe I ever came back to a room with nothing less than a newspaper on my bed and my clothes neatly laid out on the bed. Concierge directed me to a couple of his favorite restaurants within a short walk of the hotel and very easily arranged for my travel to and from the airport. Nice lounge in the lobby of the hotel, and the restaurant (Called Thirteen) has excellent Philly Cheesesteaks.

Great location
The Marriott Philadelphia Downtown is in an excellent location, close to excellent dining facilities and a short walk to the Reading Terminal Market. The housekeeping staff on our floor was first-rate. The only problem we had was with room keys. They would work for one day only and then they would be invalid. The front desk was very busy, so we always had to wait in line to get new keys issued.

Excellent Stay
I enjoyed our stay. The apple at check-in was just the right touch. The rooms were clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The location was good. There are many dinning options within blocks of the hotel.

Wonderful atmosphere for holidays.
The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and bright. The entire facility was clean. We were accross the street from Macy's light show, within walking distance of all the sights, sounds and smells of the Christmas season in Philadelphia.

The Reading Terminal is something you will not want to miss. It is filled with the local cultural treats you will not find anywhere else. A great breakfast, a beer garden lunch, Oprah's favorite macaroni and cheese at Delehi's; and, of course, Bassets ice cream.

Excellently Located with Superb Service
Great location in the very heart of Philadelphia with a skywalk to the convention center and 10 blocks to colonial era Heritage Park. Near everything and with lots of markets, shops, restaruants and interesting sites nearby. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Bartenders and wait staff courteous and fun. Definitely plan to return.

Have appetizers in the Lobby bar and then take a short walk up 12th or 13th streets for a broad selection of dinning experiences. People everywhere were very friendly and helpful.

Trip to Philadelphia Marriott Downtown
This hotel was perfect. The room was large, clean and nicely appointed with a lovely, roomy bathroom and very nice shower. The mattresses had a thick pad and were very comfortable, with lots of pillows. The room included a hair dryer, coffee pot, ironing board. The best feature was its location downtown. Excellent walking distance to shops and restaurants, easy to catch a cab, and right across the street from Macy's.
