Comfort and great location
The Marriott is centrally located, convenient to many downtown attractions. It is a large hotel, near fine restaurants and the Reading Market. For this reason, the restaurant in the hotel is of modest size, but offers good fare at a reasonable price.

Great Location
The hotel is at the center of everything. Reading Terminal Market is not even a block away, museums and dining were also in walking distance ( <25min). The hotel staff was very helpful when needed. The room were clean and comfortable. Overall it is a great value for a great location.

AWESOME place to stay!!
There are just not enough good things I could say about Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. From the moment we arrived to check in, we were met with “very” friendly and helpful staff. The Reception Desk even went so far as to print off a list of restaurants in Phil that had been showcased on the Food Network Channel. The room that I had gotten for the evening was very clean and extremely comfortable…so comfortable that I slept like a rock the entire night. We will DEFINITELY be staying here on our next visit to Phil!!

Take the Phlash bus service. It travels only to the historical/art stops and costs $2.00 for each hop on/hop off. Or $14.00 for a family pass. You can get on/off all day. Bus comes every 15 minutes - quick and convenient.

A Great Get-Away!
From the front door greeting to the final farewell, the staff at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown went out of their way to accommodate and please each guest. The hotel itself was immaculately maintained and beautifully appointed. The bed and angel pillows made an incredible and welcome night's sleep. I can't wait to return!
