Delaware River views around every corner at Penn's Landing hotel
The 22-story Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing is situated between the Delaware River and Interstate 95 in the Penn's Landing neighborhood of Philadelphia. On-site recreation includes an indoor pool that overlooks the river, a sauna and a fitness center. The hotel was renovated in 2008 and includes updated decor, new beds and flat-screen televisions in all rooms. Located less than a mile from the Historic District and steps from many Penn's Landing attractions, guests will have plenty to keep them occupied.

One person put a damper on things...
Although the overall attitude of dining room staff was great one particular lady seemed to be put out when we entered the dining area and looked for service. The awesome young bartender came over instead and bothered to serve us some coffee and bagels. Okay, we were 10 minutes before closing time for breakfast but still... take the signs down for the coffee and stuff if you don't want anyone there. It really put a damper on an otherwise excellent experience. I don't think that customers need to feel as if they are putting an employee out if they are not being rude and only want a simple cup of coffee. An explanation of what the dining room rules are all about would suffice. A smile would suffice. Our kudos and thank you to the young bartender and valet/desk staff for all of their efforts. Unfortunately we did not get the bartender's name. The date was the morning of November 25th at 9:56.

Great weekend getaway
The Hyatt Penn's Landing was convenient for our weekend getaway which included a concert across the river. The Ferry is right outside, and there are plenty of dining options in the area. When can I go again?
