Electronics Stolen!

The hotel itself was reasonable but during the stay my ipod and accessories were stolen from the locked room. I filed a police report and the hotel assured me they would take care of it through their insurance carrier. I filed with their carrier, Berkley Risk who dragged their feet and avoided communicting with me. Finally after a month, they sent a denial letter citing their investigation. I asked for the investigation to see how they came to the conclusion and they said it was "propriatary". This was a big run around. I travel for business constantly for a number of years and never had I had anything like this happen anywhere. The manager was not helpful and also was trying to just make this situation go away. If you value your things, stay somewhere else.

the really ugly

The outside needed to updated looked old and dirty.I mentioned to front desk clerk that no where on the [...]web site did it say there was a 25.00 overnite fee for parking fee.The parking was also down the street from the hotel. We walked from our car to the hotel ,passed to bums sleeping at the corner of the builing .The clerk said [...]should have told us about the parking situation. He said [...]was a third party site and they have no control over what [...]puts on its website . Then he informed me he gonna hold 50. on my card until tuesday just in case chrage anything to my room.I travel all the time customers feel cheated when all fees are includedso they can make a decision wether they want to stay at that particular hotel.I stayed up late worrying if my car was gonna get stolen.

Not quite what I expected

The staff was wonderful, the room was clean, the continental breakfast was good. The only real issue I had was the parking. The only options were to try to find street parking, pay valet ($27), or pay for a day pass at the "hotel" parking which was almost a block from the hotel ($25). There is also no loop in front of the hotel for you to unpack your belongings. The room was also a little on the small size. Side note: The hotel is also undergoing renovations

Good price, bad location

The hotel was inexpensive, which was nice in the Philly area. While the overall neighborhood is fine, the hotel itself is difficult to get to, and unless you knew it was there prior to your trip, you would not find it. The fitness center was smaller than my bedroom.

Good hotel

The hotel was good. We were only there one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the parking. The lot that is associated with the hotel cost the same as any other lot and it was very crowded.

Okay

Didn't realize we had to pay for parking: $25 a day to find it yourself, or $35 valet. The tub didn't drain well. But breakfast and snacks were good, and we lived having fresh coffee all day!!! They provided a pack and play for our little one to sleep in. The staff gave poor restaurant advice, so look into that on your own.

Nice hotel.

My husband and I recently traveled to this hotel. The rates are great for quick travelling. Breakfast was good. The location is convenient if you need to get to the Convention center. Parking was a bit difficult, but overall is was a nice hotel and served its' purpose.
