Great Hotel
Came to Philly for the NHL WINTER CLASSIC hockey game of the Flyers and Rangers, and being a Rangers fan thought getting by in the city so loyal to their sports might be hard to come by. The staff here at the hotel were all so nice and polite and gracious from the front desk, to the house keeping, to the vallet, to the people in the eatery picking up your plates. Everyone had a smile and always said good morning or good evening. That was a nice way to start it off but when a friend from another hotel called to be put through to my room, the front desk stated to my friend that I wasnt a guest there, but proceeded to call up to the room to tell me someone had called. I still do not know why they told them I wasnt a guest there.. When asked they said they just couldnt find my reservation, but when I asked them how they knew what room number I was in to call me to tell me they had no answer. Now, Valet parking is expensive.. $35 but it goes right onto your room account... keep in mind its $35 every time you take your car out, and the sight seeing isnt really in walking distance of this hotel. There is no room service in this hotel, but at the front desk they will give you menus of all the take out resturants in the area and the resturants will deliver directly to your room. There is no fan in the bathroom, so the bathroom mirror got fogged and had to open the bathroom door and let it air out for a few before I could finish getting ready. We ran out of toilet paper and instead of having another roll in the room, we had to call the front desk to call house keeping to have them deliver us soom. When they delivered it, they left it outside the room door (we were inside and awake) then had the front desk call us to tell us it was there. That and it was a little weird to have just 3 pillows on a full bed, not 2, not 4 but 3 and the sheets and pillow cases are noisy. Other then that, the hotel was super clean, and the staff was great. I would recommend it to friends going to Philly for a night or 2, and extended stay for more then that and probably not.

The hotel is in a great location, i.e. walking distance to center city, city hall, historic district and Reading Terminal Market. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Parking was easy and nearby.

Okay
Didn't realize we had to pay for parking: $25 a day to find it yourself, or $35 valet. The tub didn't drain well. But breakfast and snacks were good, and we lived having fresh coffee all day!!! They provided a pack and play for our little one to sleep in. The staff gave poor restaurant advice, so look into that on your own.

Wonderful accommodations
Excellent room. Staff extremely cordial and helpful except for being wrong about what time things open! Would gladly stay there again. We saw all the sites by walking and taking the double decker bus. The trip was fantastic!

Homecoming Weekend
Hotel was centrally located. Very comfortable and clean. Free breakfast, food fair. Parking is an extra $25(typical),I went with the vallet parking for an extra $10. They have local company that provides this service. They put a good size dent in my trunk! We will see if they reimburse me for total damage. Would stay there again, except next time I will park my own car!

It was a great hotel in a great location with a great staff. The breakfast is really nice but on saturdays and sundays it is crowed between 9 and 10AM and you can't find a seat. But everything is good. Rooms are perfect. bathroom also. Staff is really nice. Location is perfect: 5 min walk from the city hall, the main shopping street (walnut street).

Very nice
I was very pleased with the size of the room, how comfortable the large bed was, and the large bathroom. I was disappointed there was no reasonably priced parking garage on the block, but you are walking distance from lots of center city attractions. While not an inexpensive night stay, it seemed like a reasonable rate for the area. Only complaint about the facility is check out is at 11 but the breakfast is only served until 10.

Nightlife tip:
