Four Points by Sheraton Philadelphia Airport

Great location for access to the airport. Rooms were very plain and bathrooms were less than modern. Rooms had been renovated but only to a very basic level.

The hotel was marginal at best. The room was small with two double beds -- No King or Queen bed rooms were available. Parking cost $7.00 per day and there was no complimentary breakfast. The one day during our stay that we ate at the hotel, our waitress was less than disinterested. It took a while to actually get service, there was no friendly greetings and once our food arrived, there was no follow-up about the food. As a side note, a guy at the table next to us was given his credit card by one of his friends because the waitress dropped it out of the bill folder when she was settling his bill. The guy's friend found the card on the floor of the lobby as she was entering the dining area. The waitress was told about the situation and was dismessive about the incident. Other than the size of the rooms and the parking, the beds were great for sleeping and there was not too much noise in the hallways. I would recommend an alternate location for any future trips to Philly. Four Points is DEFINITELY off my list.

The main purpose of the trip was to celebrate my son's birthday on 10-10-10 with. We had a agreat birthday party and went sight seeing around the area. had a great time andenjoyed rthe stay at Four Point SHERATON.

The hallways could use some sprucing up. As I walked in I was pleased with the hotel until I got to my room floor. The hallways were a bit foreboding and I was worried about what the rooms would be like. The rooms however were spacious, and well decorated. When I walked in there was a pile of dirty linens on the floor to greet me. My first thought was that they gave me the wrong room but the room was clean. Looks like the maid just forgot what she was doing. When I called to the front desk they offered me a new room. I had them just come and take out the linens which they did promptly.On Saturday night there was a party in the room next to mine. They were extremely loud, slamming doors, and partying into the wee hours of the morning. Security was called and told them to quiet down. They did not and a few hours later security kicked them all out of the hotel. They responded to the incident promptly and swiftly and I was extremely grateful for it!The one thing I was really unhappy about is that even though I was at a hotel by the airport and not a downtown location I still had to pay 7 bucks a night for parking. We stayed at the Four Points while visiting a college in Pennsylvania. The location was near the airport, which allowed us to get to the airport for an early morning flight home. The staff at Four Points were quite friendly, and the beds were comfortable. What we had a problem with was the general cleanliness of the hotel. The dishes in the breakfast room/restaurant were really dirty. The air intake in our bedroom was filthy. You could see massive amounts of dust in it. The air vent in the bathroom was also quite dirty, and the tiles around the tub had some discoloration (mildew?). Also, when we arrived for breakfast in the morning, no one was there. After waiting a short while for the server, I poked my head in the kitchen and found the server and other staff just sitting around shooting the breeze. I would even have forgotten about that incident except that all the dishes, cups, and cutlery were so filthy that I hesitated to eat/drink from them. It just left a general poor impression. I think that the hotel would be just fine if they "cleaned up their act."

The hotel is great and so is the staff. I asked for a quiet room and got one away from the highway. The A/C was too loud for me and I had to sleep with the TV on to get to sleep...go figure. A very comfortable bed!! I was ticked off that I had to pay $7 for parking, that was a new experience for me!
