Excellent Location in the heart of Philly
The best thing about the hotel has to be it's location. Within walking distance to excellent shopping, historic sites, and monuments. The room was basic, relatively clean, and I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable for directions. Too bad there was no fitness center. Overall, it was a great experience...you dont go to Philly to hang out in your hotel room all day!!!

The motel was easy to find, close to the subway and the price was very reasonable. I only wish the continental breakfast offered more choices. The room was nice

quiet and convienent
It was a bit confusing to get the directions but the clerk helped me get there and was kind in the process. It is real spartan but very clean. There are no outside windows for most rooms; kinda an atrium set up. That said, there was no street noise to deal with and it was in the heart of the convention center district. Very quiet. Rix

Good location, OK hotel, somewhat pricey for what you get
The Chinatown Philadelphia location, near the convention center and several public transportation lines, makes it very convenient and practical for visiting the city. The room's floor (carpeting) could have been cleaner, but the essentials (bed, bathroom) were perfectly fine. Price was typical for a major city hotel in a central location, I suppose, but not a bargain.

Room was tiny without a window. Parking was several blocks away. There was trash on sidewalks leading from garage to hotel.

Very convenient location, close to the convention center, train, and within walking distance of lots of Philadelphia sites. However you may want to be aware that hotel is immediately next door to a facility that provides services to the homeless including daily lunch so there are often numerous homeless men in the area who may ask you for change.

Tavelodge Philadelphia
I appreciated he convenience of being acrss the street from the Convention Center, and the ease of walking to other areas around the city. The Motel was clean and the staff were helphul. However, there were a few suggestions I left on the exit card: No towel rack next to the sink, unable to regulate the themostat, lite bulbs too low to read by,unable to open the curtains, propably should be replaced by blinds. But, these wee minor and I did enjoy my stay.
