Lovely hotel and great location
Lovely old historic building with all the updated, comfortable amenities. Very friendly staff. Great location for getting around the city.

Unbeatable location for the price
I love my whole experience with the hotel. The location was great, the staff was excellent and informative. The room was cleaned very well and the linen was changed daily. Everything was just great! keep up the good work!

for weekend getway
2 adult buffet breakfast were included but free childrens breakfast that was advertised was not honored. You can walk to all attractions. Self Parking is nearby. Otherwise stay was very good !!!

Awsome hotel in the heart of Philly!
We loved our stay. The hotel was clean, staff super helpful and pleasant, location was perfect for sight seeing, and very close to train station, subway, buses, and the Reading Market. Lots of restaurants, museums, and historic sights within easy walking distance. I would come back to this hotel without a second thought!

Reading Market was around the corner from the hotel. A great lunch spot, and a sight seeing destination in itself. Great icecream, coffee, bakeries, produce, meats, candy etc.

Very Nice Good Location Friendly Staff
Unfortunately my mother had fallen and fractured her hip and we had to check out not long after checking in. The hotel was very accommodating but since we booked through [...] they said there was nothing they could do for us.We got no refund or certificate to use in the future something to consider when booking on line and not through the hotel itself.

Awake all nite!
ALL NIGHT young punk party
The hotel is located in the heart of Philly, close to all locations. We where on the six floor and we could hear all the traffic in the streets. There was a room party all night with some young punks making noise and talking all night. The lavatory only had hot and burning hot water. The beds are made from that memory foam and the gave us both back pain. Other wise the hotel was not bad.

Everything Broken, stay at another Hotel
Everything seemed to be broken. The TV was constantly cutting in an out. Very few channels less than most hotels. Plus not a very good tv at that. While it does have an internet connection, it is very frustrating to connect to. Constantly have to go to Marriot.com to establish connection (which they don't tell you). Some of the doors were broken, and wouldn't unlock when the lights lit up correctly. Really over priced breakfast buffet.

Reading Terminal is incredibly awesome, and just a short walk away. However, there are three marriots next to each other...so you don't have to stay at this one in order to be close to the Reading Terminal. I'd recommend one of the other two. It has to be better than this place.
