Great location in Philadelphia

This hotel is within walking district of the historic district. If you get a room on the upper floors on the river side of the building, the views are fantastic. This is an average hotel all around. I've been in worse, I've been in better. There was nothing objectionable about it. Room was clean enough, but the king sized bed had four tiny pillows, not enough to prop yourself up if you want to watch TV. The breakfast area was crowded and not well attended. I had to fetch someone to wipe off the table. All in all, for the money it was just fine.

Great location, good value

Room was a bit small, air conditioner worked, but just barely, the cleaning crew clearly just did the obvious stuff; crumbs/peanuts/something under one of the beds.

Birthday present for my husband

Our stay was very nice. We especially liked the fact that they had a free shuttle. Although we are in a tight economy, I would love to stay here again. The staff was very helpful and the buffet was the icing on the cake.!

Great Mini Vacation

Great place to stay. We walked to a few of the sites which were easy to get to if you don't mind walking... The only problem I think the hotel needs to di is put in new windows because at night you could hear the traffic outside for we were near the highway.. Other than that the hotel was okay!!

Perfect Hotel with Low Price!

First, the location is quite good. It is right besides the Delaware River and the Ben Francklin Bridge, about 10 minutes walk from the nearest subway station, 6 blocks away from the Independence Hall - and remember, the historic area of Philly is not very large, but very easy to walk. I had no difficulties to walk from the hotel to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Second, the price is really low. Just up to 100 dollars (after tax) and you can enjoy the comfortable room. My friends who also booked this hotel told me that it only cost them some 70 dollars per night. Third, the staffs there are really nice! I will certainly go to this hotel again if I visit Philly next time!

Does the job!

Hotel was clean enough and in a convenient enough location. The elevators and rooms are dated and the beds could be more comfortable but no bugs or anything dirty. Not new or fancy but for the price, it does the job.
