Thank goodness we only planned to stay one night! 1/4/2013

The problems began at check-in. The desk clerk could not figure out how to print out the reservation and key in my credit card for possible additional charges since it was made through your site. She could not answer simple questions such as "How late is the bar open?" and did not tell us about the breakfast options, not that we wanted to eat there anyway. Then when she finally got us a room, we took the extremely slow elevator and the room keys did not work, so we had to return to the desk. The tub and sink did not drain so you were standing ankle deep in water after a shower. When it did drain, hairs that did not match our hair color were in the tub, very disgusting! The heater was so loud that we could not leave it on and go to sleep. At least the beds were comfortable. This is an old hotel with dirty carpets and dingy hallways. The only positive things are the location near the Museums and the free parking. I don't know how it is rated 3 stars on your site.

Reservation disruption

The hotel failed to provided the type of room requested by your package at arrival. A king bed was specified but a narrow double bed was provided. The hotel did make the king available the next day after noon and that meant packing up and moving - a waste of precious time. This is an older hotel with heavy traffic evident in carpeted public areas.

Would never recommend

This hotel was filthy. The elevator carpet was filthy, the room was old and dirty. Bathroom door had caked up dirt on it, the shower was clogged, there was a good amount of mold under the soap dispenser, water rot, mold behind door, chipped tile with poor patch job etc. Worst of all was the unknown yellowish stain on the towel provided. This was disgusting! I will never stay there again and reccommend nobody else does either.

Old, Grimmy and Too Expensive

The outside looked better than the inside. The staff were courteous but the hallways, elevators, stairwell and rooms all reeked of last weeks visitors. The room was so old if felt dirty. I consided my move to the Motel 6, an upgrade.

Do not stay at this Hotel

Older Hotel not in good condition once you leave the lobby to your room. The electronic locks/card swipe would be good if they work. I had more trouble getting into my room because the swipe card would not open the door. Had management come and use the master key to get me in. Even they had trouble with with the lock. Meals were not included.

Great location, so so hotel.

Check in was a breeze, and the staff was friendly and polite. But when I got to my room it was tiny, with so much furniture, a desk, three chairs, cabinet with a TV set, (No cable?), chest of draws and a night stand by the bed. Why so much furniture, lined up against the walls, in such a small, small room? It was also very warm inside. It was a warm day so I wasn't surprised. But after the A.C. which was set to 55 degrees ran for a few hours, why was it still so warm? The bed was very clean and neat, but not comfortable, this was just a stop along my journey so I decided not to stay the night and continue on. It was a waste of good money.

not too good

very old a/c system, could not sleep at all, the fan was blowing the humid air right at the bed, could not breathe. felt myself like a dog on a hot day which stick its head out of a car window. but the room was clean, which is rare for this price. over all it's good for one night place to crash, but not if you need a place to rest and go to a very important meeting next morning.
