This was a decent hotel.

If your going to be staying here briefly a night or two only then its an ok place. Has a nice little bar, pool table, indoor swimming pool, gym, a little food vending area, Internet access and printer. Does not have a bathtub and I cant say that the staff cleans the shower floors too often. Rooms are a little small and windows can not be opened. Also got bit by either a flea from neighboring hotel visitors or they have bed bugs. Parkings 7 dollars a night. Overall though a decent stay.

Good food places. Try "The Continental" in rittenhouse square area ( lunch or dinner). Breakfast try "Green Eggs Cafe". Cheesteak try out "SOS steaks on south street".

Business SPecial

Aloft has siter hotel Sheraton Suites across the parking lot. Meeting room at Sheraton was $200 and Aloft was $300. They would not coordinate either room rate or meeting room rate so we wound up staying at Aloft and meeting at Sheraton. Not good customer service.

Not a bad Place

The staff was tremendous, never blinked when I needed something. Just couldn't believe their website didn't say anything about parking fees, although they were nominal fees. Also, if you don't have a car, you are not close to anything at all, not even the train into Philly, but the rooms were pretty cool. Not impressed with TV channels for the kids, did not exist.

Nice hide away...

It was our first time staying at the Aloft. It was nice, the rooms where well kept and comfortable. This is an ideal location if you need to be near the PHL airport. The lounge area was cool and the bar staff was cool. They play music at night and it had a cool vibe. The parking is gated and shared with another hotel. Overall a nice stay...

There aren't too many great food options in the area. There is Ruby Tuesday's about 1.5 away and a Wendys, McDonald and KFC down the road.

New Years Trip to Philly

The lobby was pretty crowded with people trying to check in and out with only one person who was trying to do everything including answering the phones. I pick this hotel because the last time 3 times I stayed I had so much fun. They had a dj in the lobby and a huge party at the bar area it was very NY chic, this time its pretty lame. It was less crowded in the bar area only about 3 people for new years eve and paying for parking was a hassle for anyone who wanted to host a party there. Staff was great and if you are a jet setter and just want to grab a bite and go they do have that. It isnt a hotel for the sit down and eat with a crowd types. I travel often alone its a great hotel for the lone traveler.

the Aloft Hotel

We only stayed here one night so we may not have been able to experience everything the hotel had to offer but overall I'd say the hotel was great. Pleasant staff, great atmosphere and a nice clean modern room. It was enjoyable.

terrible staff

staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. my room had a lot of damage; one night the shower temperature was nothing but boiling. once someone came to help they were not only rude but talked down to us like we were in the wrong.

Very Nice getaway!!

Nice & clean w/ a pool & workout area. Nice lounge. Rooms were very nice. I do prefer a tub/shower rather than just a shower, but otherwise enjoyed my stay!!

Attending a Wedding

I attended a friends wedding. The location of hotel was convenient to airport and downtown Philadelphia and the sports complex. I really liked the contemporary feel of the hotel. The atmosphere was upbeat and the whole lobby was classy with glass all around so you can see the outside. Clean and classy The only issue I really had was when I checked in I had to pay an extra $7.00 per day parking fee. The gate worked very poorly and you had to mostly use the call button to get out of the complex not good when there is a long line of cars exiting..
