MainStay Suites of Lancaster County

I requested a non-smoking room due to smoke allergies. Hotel blamed booking agency for not telling them about the request. Would not give me a non-smoking room. My room reeked of smoke and I had a terrible stay. Never using hotel or booking agency again. Neither care that they caused me health discomfort. Wrote to both after my stay and neither cared. Hotel was dirty and hotel staff were unprofessional.

We arrived late @ night due to traffic jam earlier. The only downside was that we were left keys to a smoking room. It really smelled awful. However, the next morning the staff cheerfully & apologetically changed us to a non-smoking room which was lovely and very adequate for our needs. We would stay there again.

The continental breakfast was well stocked. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Very nice rooms. Great kitchen set up- felt just like home! Perfect for sports groups traveling for tournament and looking to save money by cooking at home! Would stay here again!

Absolutely great staff. Very caring, friendly and were willing to take the extra step. Room was better than your average with stove, frig, microwave, dishwasher. Did not like the idea that you basically took care of your own room (getting towels, cleaning etc.) but for family probably no big deal. Workout area was total disappointment (e.g. two bicyles) especially for a guy who loves to workout. Free breakfast was OK. No bar or resturant if you like that kind of addition to your hotel. I highly recommend for family on vacation.

Hotel had clean room,nice pool,good breakfast,helpful staff,nice grounds. Our original room had a defective shower head,so we were given a new room right across the hall.I thought this was quite considerate for moving all of our things.We were there to tour in and around Lancaster,and the hotel was not as close as it seemed.My mistake.Very close by was a nice ice cream parlor and miniature golf. All considered,clean,quiet,well staffed,full featured. One note:you have to request room cleaning and towel re-stocking.

Stayed at this hotel the night before a friend's wedding. Average and extremely dated rooms, but is a great value for those that don't need anything excessively fancy. Being a recent college grad, saving money is a big deal!

They were laid back and friendly. We had a dog that we had to bring on the trip and they accommodated for that. I really appreciated their facilities and service.

Rooms were clean. Free internet. You could check your email in the lobby with two computer terminals. Continental breakfast featured two "make your own Belgian waffle" stations. No maid service on the weekends; you have to get your own towels and accessories from a supply closet on the second floor. Likewise, dirty towels and sheets are left in a laundry bin located in same closet. Not a terrible inconvenience, but should be brought up. Rooms had full sized refrigerators and a stove top, microwave and utensils for cooking. Really nice if you plan on being there for a few days. Mountville was about 30 minutes to an hour from most Lancaster attractions, but that didn't bother us. Scoops restaurant features Turkey Hill ice cream. Yum! Didn't try pool; rained most of the weekend. It looked nice. There's also an exercise room which my kids used. I think they said there was the standard bike and treadmill. You can supposedly use the whirlpool and pool at the adjacent Sleep Inn, but I did not attempt to do so. All in all, a nice, quiet weekend stay.

Would definately stay at Mainstay again and or their sister hotels. They accomodated my sisters request with a wonderful BIG room. Even though it only had 2 double beds, the room was BIG.
