The room was not clean:Crumbs on the floor, a used bandaid on the floor, urine on the toilet seat. If I had not prepaid for ... the room and brought my own cleaning products, I would have checked into another hotel.

the staff was very friendly, and the continental breakfast was great. The rooms weren't very big, and not everything worked. ... I had trouble with the phone, and my sister had trouble with the bathroom,and the air conditioning. I thought they should have shuttle busses to area attractions.

It was too far away from Hershey park and was dissapointing when we got there. The A/C didn't work well either. The bedding ... was old and didn't look like it had been fresh. The shower was broken and my kids had a difficult time getting it to work at all.

My only comment is concerning the breakfast its self service consisted of muffins, cereal, toast, yogurt, friuts and juice. ... Not exciting but is gets you started for the day.

I was there for an overnight stay with my 9 year old, the next morning we went to over to Hershey Park. I would say it was ... very average maybe below average. The security lock on the door was broken and when I checked in there was a man walking around with no shoes on his cell phone as if he were in his bedroom. If he was part of the staff it was very unprofessional, I'm really not sure who he was. He acted as if he lived there. The location was right behind a Wendy's restaurant which is not really so bad but I like something alittle more private. It was just alittle seedy to me and I being a woman traveling alone with a child felt alittle unsafe. The staff was cordial. There was also a broken lamp. The cord was broken and just hanging with a piece of electrical tape on the end. The end that goes into the wall was in the socket but no cord attached. Repairs were definitely needed. It is not so close to Hershey about 20 minutes away. I wouldn't stay there again.

The Best Western in Middletown was very clean and the room was very comfortable. My kids really enjoy the continental ... breakfast. I would definitely recommend hotel.

The diner right down the road was very good...just a little bit of a wait and for dinner we highly recommend Gilligan's...which is also right up the block.

We had a room with a king bed and a sofa bed - we had to move the mattress about 6 inches off the bed to open the sofa bed ... for the kids. The Continental Breakfast was onion bagels and whole wheat bread with a toaster. No danish, no plain bagels. The carpet in the hallways was falling apart.

The Best Western in Middletown, PA is a very convenient location and hotel to stay in if you are planning to visit the ... surrounding attractions, including Hershey Park and the handful of outdoor activities. What struck me most about this hotel was its extremely helpful and friendly staff and how comfortable I felt during my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice and relaxed stay. In addition, the hotel price was very good.

THE BEST WESTERN SUITED OUR NEEDS. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL. WE WERE THERE FOR A SHORT STAY.THE LOCATION ... IS CENTRALY LOCATED TO ALL ATTRACTIONS. WE PLAN ON GOIN BACK WITH IN THE YEAR.

The Best Western in Middletown was not quite what I expected for the money we paid. Although the room was fairly clean, it ... looked like it needed an update/renovation. Two queen beds, three chairs, a table, and one dresser made the room feel cramped. The bathroom was very small and could have used a good scrubbing. This hotel did have an excellent, complementary, well stocked, breakfast buffet. One of the best I have seen in a long time. The attitude of the staff was a 50/50 mixture of happy to help and why are you bothering me again. The hotel was easy to find and a short drive to several of the areas attractions.

They are close enough to hershey park which is where we wanted to stay but we wanted to be a little away from the excitement ... but close enough to not have to drive too much. the staff at the hotel greeted us with smiles and were professional and helpful. the pool was clean and the towels were provided so we didnt have to try and use our room towels for both pool and shower. the hotel also had an ad for one of the best mexican restaurants (herby's) that we have ever eaten at. the room was spacious and comfortable. the complimentary coffee in the room was great for early mornings and the contintenal breakfast was good. the only thing we didnt care for was that our 5 yr old daughter had accidentally spilled her soda on the bed and although we left the comforter folded over so that the people cleaning the room could see it, that night when putting my daughter to bed we noticed it was the same comforter with the stain on the bed.

Pool had too much chlorine for small children, but service was excellent. Staff was excellent with information about ... surrounding places to see. The bathroom with shower had no exhaust fan to let the steam out.
