Park Inn Harrisburg West, PA

We arrived about an hour early and the clerk at the desk did her job and made us wait till it was check in time. However the manager ([...]) came over to us about a half hour later offered us complimentary drinks and got us our room right away. The room was tidy and the bed was comfortable. Had a fridge, a microwave, and internet service. All was good for us.

Brown colored water(fluid) backed up out of the sink drain the first time we turned on faucet. The night I checked in, there was an incident with an intoxicated man at the front desk that scared my wife. It was very poorly handled. During the wedding reception my family was there for, several guests(including my wife) tripped over a poorly placed beer keg stand. Lastly, after arriving home, I discovered that the motel/hotel double chared my credit card.

Great hotel if your gonna be goin to west shore hardware bar, as its right beside the hotel(which is no longer a Holiday Inn, its a PARK INN). Have stayed many times and always have had a great stay.

The First night was horrible. The room we had was small and the bed was like sleeping on the floor. My wife and me could barely fit on the bed as well. Not very much sleep that first night. The next day we went and talked with the manager, [...], and he set everything right. He gave us a new room. The next room was bigger, as well as the bed was bigger, it smelled great in there as well. He even gave us a free movie to watch to help make up for that first night. The pool and the mini-golf was a good time. The mini-golf course could have used a bit of maintenance but all in all it was a good time playing on it. The outdoor pool was a bit cold for my taste and the indoor pool was great size for the kids to play in. The only complaints I have is that first night. After we got that first night out of the way it was a great stay. Their customer service is beyond any place I have ever stayed.

It was a nice stay because it was near all major highways and near many dining options. Nice bar in hotel to watch games, good food...

Upon arriving here wow looks great. lobby so nice. after finding where our room was we had to drive way out of way to back of 'motel type buildings and lug our suit cases up flights of stairs. entering into room air conditioner not working, hair on bathroom floor. called office repair man came to fix started tearing ac unit out of wall current temp 96 outside who knows indoor temp. Repair man states only a little while more finally I called office and asked if I could please have another room while he fixed this after hesitation and talking to manager they felt we could have another room. oh guess what they painted the banisters with paint and forgot to put up signs wet paint. My daughter has dark brown paint on her arms and clothes, repair man genious suggest he has paint thinner he can give me, I denied the need wonder what the absorption of paint thinner does neurologically let alone to your skin? Great this room has working AC, and look a micro wave and refridge, Hum the other one didn't. guess what this resort has indoor outdoor pool with golf, too bad it's a10 min walk outdoors to get all they way back and did I mention It closes becauses there are no lights outside no golf or pool outdoors then and indoor pool closed early for cleaning. Next morning cleaning people tell me no clean wash clothes because all rooms are booked Holiday ran out. Enough said it only gets worse.
