Super 8 Lancaster PA

Hotel public space was generally worn and not well cleaned. Room was OK, but tub did not drain well and people were obviously smoking in no-smoking rooms. Free breakfast is a joke. Go to Friendly's across the street.

I would only stay at this place for one night. In order to be a long stay a hotel must of a microwave and a fridge and a iron. These are musts for most travelers they should invest in some.

For us, the location was ideal as it allowed us to be close to our family while also being the a great location to access other services such as shopping, restaurants, fueling, late night snack etc. The continental breakfast was more than adequate - seating area was strained at times due to a filled motel, but the $ saved by eating there outweighed any other comfort concerns for me.

Staff preoccupied. Staff friendly once they got to you. Staff loud and walls thin. Could hear staff from open window in room carrying on with each other outside. Not all guests keep same hours of sleep. 2 bugs in bathroom, different species! Locked door to outside proped open. Good location, close to everything but WOULD NOT ever stay again.

This hotel has that outdated and not well taken care of look. Blanket had pills and cigarette burns in them. I had asked for a smoke free room but it was quite obvious that people smoked in this room because of the faint smell. The carpet felt like it had some weird film on it so did not want to walk around barefoot. Walls are very thin, you can hear everything. The only upswing was the staff was very friendly. Luckily I only had to stay one night. If it had been more I would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else. In this case you really do get what you pay for...cheap rate....cheap room!

very poor mattress very hard to sleep on and pillows hard, burn marks in pillow case. While we will visit Lancaster again, we will not stay at this motel again. I was really disappointed with the overall cleanliness. The staff was friendly enough, they ran out of breakfast and oj before 9am. Love Lancaster, not so much the motel

I did not have a good experience at Super 8 Lancaster. The room was non-smoker, but smelt like a smoker room. I asked to switch rooms, they said would charge me extra $20.00 because the available room had one extra bed. So, I asked them to spray some smell killer in my room and that would be fine, they did not do it. I slept in a bad smell room.

Hotel was convenient all the places we were interested in visiting: Visitors Center, Shopping, Sight and Sound were all within short mileage radius.

It was not bad for the price. Staff was friendly. It was not a 4 star motel, but good for the price. Very close to shopping and Sight & Sound. When we travel we do not stay in room, just to sleep & shower. So the beds were not bad, but flat pillows. So take your own. It was clean. Bathroom little small. Coffee was bad. But there is a Dunking Dounts right across the street.

We chose this motel for the value, and we got what we paid for...not much. The bed spread was stained and dirty. The blanket had fried food crumbs stuck to it. The sheets, although clean, had stains and holes. I wouldnt think of stepping in the shower and the bathroom floor had someething on it that was akin to grease. The whole room needs serious cleaning and upgrading. If you are looking for cheap, you found it. If you are looking for clean and comfortable, then stay in a better motel.
