Average for the money

The bed sheets had some kind of rusty looking stains.

Nice enough property

Located in a very big tourist area on a US highway functioning as an interstate with stop lights. Lots of trucks churning by. Crossing the street is an adventure. Hotel is a good value for the money, with a good breakfast. Rooms nice though not exceptional.

Good, not great.

Overall a good experience. What I did like, close proximity to Dutch Wonderland which is why we booked it. The room was small but nice, although the bathroom was dirty, hair along the baseboard on the floor, mold stains in the shower. Water pressure was horrible and the toilet didn't flush well. The shower water took forever to get hot. When we checked in the staff didn't tell us where our room was located, how to get there and if there was a cart to help bring our luggage to our room. Breakfast was good, loved the waffle makers to make fresh waffles. The pool was suppose to open at 9 am which I think is late when you have kids under 5, but didn't open until 9:45 am on the morning we wanted to use it, they accommodated us with a late check out for the inconvenience, which was nice. [...] Don't know if I would stay there again.

A little noisy

The hotel was average, however the staff were very accommodating which improved the average rating. Since the hotel was on a main road and shared a driveway with a Steakhouse, it tended to be on the noisy side until after Midnight. Best to ask for a back room.

Not bad

The lobby and breakfast area are lovely. The pool looked nice also. Breakfast was make your own waffles, SOS, cereal, aplpes, and bread. I would have liked some eggs. My room smelled less than fresh, and everything felt damp. There were dirty towels from previous guests in the bathroom. Quiet, no major issues, close to Dutch wonderland. Not bad.

Room condition

The desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was on third floor requiring elevator use, Initally it was a little balky but ok later. I had trouble using the card key. Room could have been alittle cleaner. Breakfast ok. Food was above average. Variety could have been better!

Good Value

The hotel was in a very good location close to everthing you want to see or visit when going to Lancaster. The free daily breakfast was very good and comfortable. Waffle maker and daily muffins, breads, cereals, juices and coffee were great! The woman running the breakfast room did a great job keeping everything stocked and neat. The hotel itself was average and needs updating. The cleaning staff were a little lazy and did bare minimum in keeping the rooms clean. The overall experience was good and the value was good. Just don't expect a 4 -star hotel. I would recommend for economy stays.

Visit the Echo Caverns and Hershey Chocolate world. Take a buggy tour to a real Amish Farm. I would recommend the tour at Plain and Fancy restaurant.

Nice Room in Lancaster

I don't live in a hotel room. A hotel room should be a clean comfortable place to spend the night. The bed here was comfortable. The TV's were new 42 inchers, and the bathroom was clean. There is no dresser or closet. keep the air conditioner on so you don't hear the trucks on the highway!
