A Nasty Hotel!

I've never pay that much for a hotel like this one. Between being smelly, has fungus on walls, pool and even on the ice machine!, broken and dirty carpets and a cheap breakfast (orange juice was impossible to drink!)...All I can say is I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!!

Overnight business trip

Hotel was just OK... Room was clean & adequate & reasonably priced.. It's about time for a bit of upgrading just to keep up with the times & competition. Staff very nice.. Would I stay again??? I'd Probably try another down the street....

Price was right

I paid $82 a night for 3 nights for a spacious room with 2 double beds and a balcony. Clearly this was a very nice hotel back in the day. As others have commented, the hotel is quite run down now. It needs to be renovated, but then you'd pay a premium price for a room and that might be hard to fetch considering there is nothing special about the location. It is essentially a good hotel for the Walmart shopper. Every room, including the pool, is open and airy. The continental breakfast is just adequate. I would stay here again if I needed to save money. If i had an additional $60 a night to spend then i would definitely choose a different (nicer) hotel. Also, if you plan on going to the Dutch Wonderland theme park, it is directly across the street and you can walk, so no need to pay for parking (another financial perk). Even though it was run down, it didn't feel grungy or creepy like some of those fly-by-night operations.

Fairly central location for the touristy stuff. We liked the Iron Horse restaurant.

Average hotel at a good price

Stayed at the hotel for 5 days. The hotel was undergoing some reservations which is probably not a bad idea as the hotel could use a little bit of a face lift. However, the hotel rooms are nice, clean and pretty large. A couple of minor issues is that the breakfast was the same exact thing every day. Also, the outdoor pool looked like it had not been cleaned as there was some stuff (leaves) on the top and bottom of the pool. However, in the end it was an average hotel at a very good price.

Great Location!

My boyfriend and I came to Lancaster to see my Cousins and the kids! It was a very short but very sweet stay! The Ramada is the perfect location! Very nice place! Room very nice and clean! Bed very comfortable! We didn't have to ask for anything for the room! Very nice indoor and outdoor pools! Weather wasn't that great so we used the indoor pool! The Hotel Staff very very friendly and accommodating! Looks like they are renovating parts of the Hotel! Once its all done, it will definitely be a big improvement! Bottom Line! We will definitely stay here again! Probably not until next year!

not good

Going by the ramada inn website which stated outdoor pool, tennis courts and basketball court we went with it. upon check in with my son and his basketball in hand the clerk said the hoop and tennis courts are in the back of the establishment.what he didnt say was the hoop was ripped of the backboard and lying in disrepair on ground and the tennis court was in shambles and the outdoor pool was green from an algae bloom!! YUCK>>> we went back and nicely complianed ,he said he wasnt sure if the maintance staff would be able to fix hoop.housekeeping forgot to clean our room, the "fitness center" had one bike from 1980 and a treadmill that was not in working order.the complmentry breakfast was a fly swatting adventure. The indoor pool was ok but the adjoining suana look like a storage locker of old chairs not in use but the door to it was open as if in use. with a lot of repair work it woukd be nice, golf course view in back and right across from Dutch wonderland.
