    Lancaster Host

Had a great time at the Lancaster Host for a golf tournament. Didn't have a chance to use the pool or the dining rooms, other than the buffet that was used for the tournament.

    Good Location

Although this hotel is centrally located to many outlets and restaurants, we were somewhat unhappy about the cleanliness. The trek from the entrance to our room included walking up a narrow, enclosed stairway that was not only dimly lit, but quite dirty and stinky. Two people could not pass on the steps when carrrying luggage. There were empty boxes of pizza outside of our door. I asked the lady cleaning the next room if she would be taking that, and of course it stayed there the entire time. Our room was spacious and clean but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The sink was cracked and the fixtures were in need of replacement. The tub fixtures were not cleaned. There was a great amount of soap scum. Two almost empty rolls of toilet paper were hanging with no replacement in sight.

    Just what you need

Lancaster Host Hotel was just what we needed! A close to home, but far enough away to kick back and do some shopping and relaxing. I like the way they have things for one to do at nite. Pool open with a movie playing. People where all around very nice.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Shopping was very close by wich came in handy for one who like to shop. Outlets where on either side of us, and not a far drive to either one. There were many other store and farmers markets also close by.

    The Lancaster Host Hotel ...

The Lancaster Host Hotel is ideally located right between the outlet centers and opposite Dutch Wonderland Amesement Park. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are adequate, but there are no luggage racks available for guests; the walk to our room was long and included climbing a short flight of stairs with our luggage. The hallways are dark, dirty and dingy and in need of a remodeling. The desk clerk at check-in neglected to tell us about the complimentary breakfast and seemed to be preoccupied with her own personal conversations. The indoor pool was closed early because of rain storm and lightning in the area?? We were unable to get a swim in Saturday evening as a result. The exercise room could use some new equipment and a total remodeling. We would not stay here again.
