Comfortable

The Amish Country Travelodge was adequate and comfortable. The office provided an extensive collection of brochures associated with local tourist attractions. The continental breakfast was not an elaborate affair, but it was, again, adequate for our needs.

Just a short jump over to Route 30E, which takes you to the heart of the Amish area attractions.

Fantastic family getaway

I was there visiting family members. They treated us very good and the services very quickly. The best thing was the breakfast.

over night stay

Over all it was a a moderatly decent priced room. Wasnt quite ready at a 2 pm arrival but was quickly dealt with. the room was a lil dated could use brighter paint an bathroom remodeled, main door had large gap 3 out of 4 sides ( could be a prob in winter wasnt bad this time of year. In room micro wave 4 cup coffee pot an mini fridge, 40 flat screen all worked. Windows a bit thin allowing sound in an out of rooms ( much privacy) heard neighboring room. Staff was very kind an courteous. Recommend research listing of whats going on in lancaster an surrounding area this weekend included volley ball an basket ball an soccer tournaments (teams from all over usa an canada) little prince thing goin on. Hotel had a basketball team at it ( didnt really hear them). With the few minor complaints of the room an 1 right outside the room (there was a very large tarp held down by like 20 cinder blocks) the stay wasnt bad. Oh one other thing dont expect to see the amish. The name is a lil misleading. They are not located in this part of town but is located within 20 min drive to other side of town in the tourist area.

Not a thing wrong with this place...

It's not the Hilton...but why pay more in one night than what I paid for 4 days. Clean rooms, TV, easy access, quiet and most of all...a comfortable bed. The desk in the room was perfect for my laptop. Used the fridge and microwave daily. Good shower...not great...but good. Clean linen and great staff made my stay a pleasure. I also went next door to the same family's restaurant. It was delicious..!! I'll definitely stay again.

Good stay

Stayed during the Thanksgiving weekend...located at the outskirts of Lancaster city...decent motel, nice spread for breakfast and also has a decent Indian restaurant within its premises...the motel is half-hour drive from the actual Amish villages and attractions...

Clean, comfortable, convenient!

Friendly check in. Nice continental breakfast. Basic room but has microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Strong wi-fi signal. Nice large flat screen tv. All considered as basic in a more 'up scale' hotel but unexpected in such moderately priced accommodations. Building could use a facelift, but don't judge a book by its cover. The room was a bit small but very comfortable. I will stay here again when in Lancaster.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Mexican restaurant 100 yards up the street is excellent! Well worth the wait. If no time to wait; visit the restaurants 'topas' dining room upstairs.

Not in Amish community

It was a nice hotel. The staff was very helpful. It was centrally located. My only grip was that it was not IN Amish country which is what it is advertized as. It is actually about 10-15 miles away to see the Amish community.

Will stay here again

Check in was smooth, room was clean with new fridg and microwave. The pool was small, but very inviting. Couldn't ask for a more friendly staff. The Indian restaurant connected to the hotel was excellent - they even grow their own herbs on the hill in back. The continental breakfast was average, but there was no seating - food had to be taken back to the room. We will definitely stay here again.
