Not again

We liked the fact that the hotel was in the middle of where we wanted to go. This was our 6th trip to Lancaster but wanted to try new place. Smoking rooms were on 1st floor. All smoke traveled to 2nd floor. Being allergic to smoke I had to break out all my meds since we could not get refund. Beds hard, cables hanging from ceiling and walls. TERRIBLE.

Stay away from this place

Dirty place, roaches in bed. Sure it was a great deal, but even if it was free, it would have been too expensive. We read the reviews and knew it was not a 3+ star hotel, but really we just needed a bed for a few hours. I would highly recommend sleeping in your car in the parking lot over their rooms, I assure you the accommodations would be higher quality.

HORRIBLE!!!!

this by far was the wost place I have ever stayed, if it wasnt already paid for i would of went somewhere else. next time i will make my own plans and not rely on others. the place is old, run down, dirty - they should just knock the building down and start over.

WORST HOTEL EVER

I called in the afternoon to confirm late check in and the person who answered the phone did not have any business skill and I thought that perhaps I had dials someones home and not a business. When I got the the hotel, despite requesting a non-smoking room I inadvertantly booked a smoking room. Anyone who is a non-smoker knows this is a strong issue, as I am sure the reverse is true for smokers, and this should have been braught to my attention when booking! But ok, my mistake... I will ive a learn to read all the small print!! VERY CAREFULLY!!At first I could not even walk into the room the smell was so strong it struck me as soon as the door was opened. When I went to see about getting the room changed the only response I was given was that I booked through and agency and I had to talk to them. He wouldnt even speak with me! I am sure this is because the receive complains on a regular basis and in fact when I went down there was a gentleman also having a problem and stating he was going to the Better Business Bureau. The only response the attendent gave was basically a srug if that. There was a complete apothy or lack or concern at all.He was however helpful in providing me with the number I need to call ot contact the agency I booked with. They were as helpful as they could be, stated they would have to charge me if they found me a new room in the area and would then issue a credit for this reservation. HOWEVER, they needed to contact the hotel to confirm the refund. We all know what happened then... of course the hotel refused because getting people suckered in, is the only way the will ever get patrons. They knew I would not be a repeat customer (I am not sure who would be) so they got my money and they could care less about what happened to me know. So, at this point I went to the room and saw how unkept it was. The Non on the Non-smoking sign on the door was painted over, the sheets were stained, there were marks all over the door - inside and out, the paint was chipping on the bathroom door and window sill, hair in the sink and on vanity, black filth hand print in shower, smudges all over window, trash behind dresser, room did not look vacuumed, ashed and cigarette/cigar butts in floor, burn marks in sheets. But for me the worst was the intesity of the cigarette smoke smell. We decided to drive the 3-4 hours home in the middle of the night rather to sleep in such filth. However, despite only staying in the room just long enough to take pictures my throat was still bothered by the smoke.I have definately learned to do my research on hotels more carefully before making any reservations. I feel that agencies such as [...] or whichever you choose should also do some due diligency and when there is such clear problems with hotels or when someone has a complaint that can not be resolved they need to STOP DOING BUSINESS with these hotels!! It is a reflection on them, and until a non-smoking manager is willing to spend the night in a room such as I was provided with they should NOT SEND ANY MORE PATRONS TO BUSINESS LIKE THIS ONE!!!!!!Not only would I not recommend this hotel to a friend, I wouldn't even recommend it to an enemy!

The worst hotel I ever stayed at

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever booked. I knew from the first night that it was gross by the raunchy smell of the hotel lobby (smoke and mold). I called [...] to get a different room since they advertised this horrific hotel on their website, and they did not help me at all! Do not book this hotel and do not use this site.

The hotel was in a great location...but needs updated badly!!!!! The bed was hard as a rock and the pillow was flat as a pancake and couldn't be fluff no matter what!!! It could use a good cleaning..walls and carpet...and smells a little musty... had teabags but no water..just coffee. Wall are warped and wallpaper is coming off the walls..and towels could use some bleach.
