Don't ever go to Lancaster without seeing one of the Sight and Sound Theatre's productions. What a wonderful experience. They make Bible stories come to life. Great performers!

not a quiet hotel
My husband and I went to Lancaster for our 1 year anniversary. The location was good, not too far from the main attractions. The hotel itself was nice, good breakfast in the morning. THe rooms though had VERY thin walls. You were able to hear the room above you and on both sides showering and flushing the toilet, as well as conversations at times. We also had some problems with the housecleaning staff throwing away some things we left in the bathroom. Overall it is a nice hotel, but would not be my first choice when planning a lancaster getaway.

watch out if you book on [...]
We did not notice that we had booked a King handicapped room. We tried to change it at the hotel and were told they could not, yet they offered another patron with NO reservations a King room. We were then told because we had booked via [...]and payed a lower rate, they could not change the room, they could give the room that they wanted, ours was across from the Laundry/Housekeeping so we were awakened with arriving employees at 0630 each morning. On check out we were told they really like prebooking on [...], as they get paid in advance and if the patrons do NOT like their room it is okay,as the reservation is prepaid and if they do not like the room and check out they are already paid. As per their policy, they cannot change reservations booked on [...], as they were booked on [...]. Note we have NEVER had a problem making changes at any other facilty we booked thru [...]or thru Hampton Inns. Would we stay at this hotel again? NO, but would go back to the area again.

Met Expectations
I was there to shop the outlets for my birthday. I was able to get a room on the top floor and it was blissfully quiet. Two minor complaints, the breakfast buffet needed a few more choices for meat lovers such as bacon or sausage. Also there was a short power outaged due to a windstorm. Good customer service would have been to call the guests and ask if they needed anything since the elevators were out of service. Overall, for the price it was a good stay.

Many nice extras
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This particular Hampton Inn offered many little "extras" that we hadn't seen at most hotels. There was a special towelette for makeup removal. The towels were tucked into nice wooden cubbie holes on the wall instead of just hanging. The bathroom counter and mirror were in the corner with a mirror on each wall. There was hot water for tea and coffee 24 hrs a day. When we checked in, it was late and cold; that cup of hot decaf tea really hit the spot. The free continental breakfast the next morning was satisfying. We'd had better, but it was nice to be able to walk down the hall and eat before heading out into the cold. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Nice - great location
Nice room- fridge & microwave was included. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet- even though the place was completely booked the night we were there. Front desk staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the cookies in the lobby. Coffee available 24 hrs a day. Very nice breakfast buffet served until 11 on Sunday morning. We would stay again if in the area.

Great Location - Great Price
We only stayed 1 night, but hotel was clean and had all necessary accommodations. We visited Sight and Sound to see Joseph which was wonderful. We had dinner at Hershey Restaurant which was right down the street from Sight and Sound. The food was amazing -- had a fabulous buffet -- and great service. We didn't know what to expect when we visited the National Christmas Museum. We actually thought we would get through it in 20 minutes, but it took closer to 2 hrs to go through. It definitely will take you down memory lane and back to your childhood. It was definitely an A+++ trip!
