We had to stay for two nights. On the first night, after we checked in, we noticed several dead bugs on the floors. Later, my aunt found a bug in her bed, so she grabbed a napkin and carried it to the front desk in hopes that they would do
something to try to fix it. But nope. They said "oh, that's a new one." REALLY!! The day we checked out, I noticed three small bumps on my neck that were very itchy. Well the three bumps spread vigorously and come to find out, I was the meal of several bed bugs. We contacted the hotel about this and they said "Well we don't put the bed bugs there on purpose. It's the people that bring them in. So there is nothing that we can do about it." Complete outrage!
Yes it was cheap, but I've stayed at nicer cheap places! There was a big sign that said it was newly renovated...NOT! Maybe a paint job. The pillow cases were stained. You only got like three channels. Horrible!
They had a banner on the outside that said recently renovated, but the carpet is worn (or maybe just dirty). The staff was polite and the room was clean. The breakfast was just doughnuts most days. The huge problem was that the mattresses on both
beds were very old and worn and sagged in all the wrong places. It was reasonably comfortable as long as I slept in the middle of the bed - ok since I wasn't sharing a bed. After cleanliness, a comfortable bed is the most important thing, and this motel came up way short.
Room rate was posted at $45.00 so we didn't save.
The pillows were like a sack with a little stuffing. The comode was filthy. The newspaper that was said to be available at the desk with breakfast was not. Room heater/air conditioner clanged all
night. Would not repeat at this facility
The room has bed bugs. Both my husband and I got bit. We looked very good before unpacking or sitting or anything. The mattress and box springs were encased in vinyl protectors and showed no evidence of bugs. I don't know where they were hiding,
but htey got us good. We were offered a refunds on our room cost. That was a good thing. Perhaps next time we'll worry more about the hotel quality than money costs.
Worst Hotel I have ever seen, Bug Infested. Shold be closed.
Checked out as soon as we saw the room. The place was a bug infested garbage pit with dead bugs in the room with white powder around the edges of the room. this place should be condemmed. Other people checking out also or not even checking
Orbvitz found many new reservations. I requested an immediate credit for the hotel and stayed somewhere else. The Lancaster Host Resort, where we were doing a show.
Beds were too hard. Not enough channels. Wifi was sufficent. Air conditioning was great. Staff was not attentive. Pillows were lumpy and small. A do not disturb sign was not availible which resulted in housekeeping waking us up. The price was ok.
It should have been only $45 or $50. And the continental breakfast was unsatisfactory.
The hotel is older and slightly run down. There was a mix up with my reservation adn the staff was very helpful friendly and got it all straightened out. The beds were hard and had a plastic cover on the mattress that made the sheets come off when
you moved. Over all it was a good place to shower and sleep.
