Poor Customer Service
Beautiful hotel with great beds but the customer service is horrible. The front desk didn't answer the phone or return messages. Some of the bartenders were very rude. If you are going to stay don't bother with the restaurant or the bar. They kick customers out very early. Also, stay in a room on the 4th floor. If you stay on the lower floors you hear every footstep the people in the room above you take. It's funny that they make you sign a no noise agreement but the poor acoustics in the hotel cause the most noise.

Hip stay in Lancaster
Came to the Cork Factory Hotel for a much-needed long weekend get-away. Had a great stay, enjoyed both the hotel and Lancaster. Hotel is stylish, in a converted industrial building. Decor is modern and hip. The location was a bit isolated from downtown attractions. The hotel restaurant, Cork & Cap, was outstanding, with excellent decor, service and food. The complimentary hotel breakfast was good too. Overall, a weekend well-spent, we would do it again.

Long walk from hotel
Lancaster Central Market was a wonderful destination. Fresh produce, hand-made products like jams and jellies, baked goods. Very authentic.

Short drive from hotel
Downtown Lancaster has some real gems, the Sonia Rose shop on Queen Street has great hand made hats for those that collect and wear.
