Valley Forge Scanticon Hotel Rooms

- One king or 1 queen bed. Triple sheeting, duvet and oversized pillows. Floors 1-6. 350-4000 sqaure feet. Spearate master bedroom and sitting area. Two person jetted tub in bathroom. Sitting room has loveseat, armchair and L-shaped desk with ergonomic chair. Three multi-line phones, voice mail, in-room safe, cable/satellite TV with premium TV. Two TVs, pay movies, video games (surcharge). Coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, iron/ironing board.

Not a 3 star
Heating was difficult to control: either full AC or full heat were the only options. Showers had to be taken before 8:00 am. After 8:00, there was no hot water.

There are nice restaurants in Phoenixville, on Bridge Street that are worth the short ride.

Very nice hotel
I was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The check-in was quick and simple. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful. There was plenty of free parking. Free internet was a plus as well. The room was immaculate and service was great.. I would definitely return to this hotel. It is approximately 30 minutes from Philadelphia. I did not run into traffic.

Girls getaway
The hotel is located close to the mall. The girls had a great weekend. The bar was a fun place to hang out and relax.

AWFUL!!!
When we got there they were over booked so we didn't have a room even though I had confirmed that morning. While waiting to see what other hotel they were going to send us to, another couple were leaving because of bed bugs. Then we went to the Comfort Inn and they were very accommodating. While checking in there a group of women who were checking in to the Scanticon were also checking into the Comfort Inn because they too had no room. NEVER GOING BACK THERE!!! I will be checking to make sure my cc is credited for the amount of the hotel room.

Lucky escapee
stay at Scanticon Valley Forge 01/2011
old, rundown, dirty Condition of the room was ugly - no windows?! (I guess not much could be done about that now) but then why everything else in that room (bathtub, towels, fridge) was so old and dirty looking. Even linens looked as if I was reusing them from a guest before me... Cheers

valley forge scanticon hotel
The rooms were dated and not clean. the room had a mold smell due to the leaking airconditioner. I staff was friendly and very pleasant but the hotel needs an overhaul.

I want my truck back!
Very Bad Trip
The first night I was there the staff did not program my room key and I had to return to the front desk. During the night, my truck was stolen from their parking lot right in front of the lobby doors. There are no cameras in the parking lot. The staff could do nothing for me including security. After checking with me to make sure I did not forget where I parked I had to call the police. My microwave and refridgerator did not work in my room. The hotel did not even apologize or say anything to me about my truck! Other than that, the jacuzzi tub was great and the room was comfortable and clean.
