Directly across the street from the famed King of Prussia Mall, The Best Western The Inn at King of Prussia is located just off of the turnpike on five landscaped acres. Nice hotel. The room this time smelled a bit like it was formerly a smoking room. Light bulb in the bathroom was out the four days I stayed, cleaning staff must not think it's their job to report repair items...

Weekend in King of Prussia, Pa.
Generally, a good value for what we got. The room was clean and comfortable although we could have used a couple of extra towels and pillows as a default. There was some problem with tool noise or loud plumbing (air in the lines) on 2 of the nights, but is lasted only for about 5 minutes each night.

Not bad
I was here on business. The hotel exterior needs some upgrading because it looks dingy. The rooms have been remodeled so they were really nice inside. The only thing is that the walls are too thin, so I could hear people around me and definitely the person who was walking around in the room above me. There seemed to be a lot of contracted workers there, and they were constantly up and down the hallways at 4-5am, opening and closing doors. Other than that, everything else was ok.

Unhappy experience
No wireless Internet in room as advertised. Staff said wireless "did not reach the back of the hotel but assured it was available in the lobby." That makes it difficult to do online work. As a business traveler who works evenings and early mornings, this was nor an option. The breakfast was terrible -- no fresh fruit but lots of sugary cereals and sweet rolls. Room smelled.

Very clean, good location
All of the hotels in the area seem to be way over priced to me. This one was somewhat reasonable and turned out to be great for our family. The room was spacious and very clean. Even the bathroom seemed to be exceptionally clean for a hotel. Complimentary breakfast was great for the whole family. And the hotel is directly across the street from the enormous King of Prussia Mall, so there are lots and lots and lots of food options. The hotel is right of the freeway and only about 20 minutes from historic Philadelphia.

We booked a queen bed and were given a double bed instead. We have a queen at home so it was very obvious how much smaller the bed was.

Good price for the location
This was a college campus trip to check out Villanova. I specifically asked for hot tubs in my search and was told that Best Western had one, however, when I got there it was an outdoor hot tub which was not going to be opened til May 1st. I was hoping to have some special "me" time during our college campus touring as a single mother, however, I did not research good enough.

Great location and price!
We stayed at the Best Western in KOP before in a room in the back. We were not too happy with it. It smelled of smoke. I requested a room in the front this time and it smelled fresh and enjoyed it much more.
