Milton Motel

Room needs updating. The free breakfast was not good. The powdered small doughnuts were stale. Not much else was offered other than coffee and juice. Suggest that you look for another place to stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, though somewhat tired. The beds were clean, inviting, and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The heater worked well. It seems like a family-friendly place. I was traveling alone on business and was very happy to return to my room after the day's training. The room was quieter than I have come to expect in motels - either the rooms are well-insulated or I had remarkably quiet neighbors! I am planning to stay again for the next training session.

You get what you pay for. That being said it has everything you need if you need a place to pass out shower and head off early the next day. Pros: Cheap, good location within hershey, close parking, bathroom heater, iron and refrigerator, quiet, cable TV, nice staff (makes you coffee early 630 AM) Cons: small rooms, small cleanliness issues (old carpet, plumbing marks on walls), needs a renovation Bottom line: if you are looking to save $ you could do far worse

upon arrival at the motel, 11pm, there was no one in the office. my key was left in an envelope in the mailbox. the next morning, 6am, upon tryin to leave, there was no one in the office again, locked up, no lights. so i put my key back in the mailbox and left. i had to call and then go back and pay for my room. good thing i was staying local for the day. didnt even give me a discount. just kept apologizing that staff left or was late. the room was great though. i wouldnt mind staying there again, as long as the staff can be present!

We took a trip there for Milton Hershey schools homecoming, as my boyfriend is a graduate. We wanted to stay someplace close so I chose the Milton motel. The staff did not impress me at all and the room was marginal. I asked for non smoking the room was clearly not and even smelled a bit like smoke. The one outlet near the closet almost pulled out of the wall. The shower head was mounted to low for the wall. The wireless they claim to have did not work in our room and we were on the bottom floor. I will not be staying again ,but it was ok for the money, the only redeeming feature were its location and a very comfortable bed.

I do not expect the Four Seasons at this price but I do expect a clean room and a clean pool. The room was so small two people couldn't walk around at the same time. The shower had MOLDY drop ceiling tiles and the pool was cloudy and filled with bugs. The front desk clerk had no idea what she was doing. [...] AND a continental breakfast should mean more than a rusty toaster and milk sitting out in the heat !

Was Wonderful.. Staff was great. Clean..Great Pool.. Would go back again. Love it..8-)

Milton motel has a very friendly staff. A perfect location in town. It's not at all expensive. Rooms were very clean, with a nice bed and clean bathroom. Free parking. What else to say it's more worth , with what they charge.

This hotel seemed nice, however the lights by the bed were missing a switch, so we had to unscrew it to use on both lights. It was VERY noisy especially around 10pm when the neighbors were showering and it sounded like they were coming thru the walls. The shower was made for someone about 4 foot tall, i am almost 6 ft tall and could not rinse my hair under the shower head, i had to move it almost straght out from the wall and still couldnt get "under" it. NOT at all worth what I paid!! No one was in the office upon check out, so i was unable to complain in person!!

Did not even stay as the hotel did not even have my reservation is what they said, though I had a confirmed reservation with payment receipt. [...] Did not even have courtesy to inform in advance on my email or the call to the cell number that was on the reservation. I was surprised about me not having the room upon arrival (almost !) I found out when I called to tell them about my late arrival, I was told that they never had my reservation !!
