Fantastic Family Trip!!!

Wow! This hotel has completely been revamped since I last stayed here. Granted before it wasn't as nice, but this new management and ownership has made this place a super gem for the price. The folks that manage this property are definitely the nicest I've ever met in a Motel. For the price, you can't beat them!! Definitely coming again for other Hershey events!

Not good

I would not recommend this place. The bathtub/shower was very slow to drain and there was very little water pressure. The mattress was hard and the sheets were stained. I was not happy sharing a room with all the flies. We needed a place last minute and I can see why they had vacancies.

Very acceptable

We booked in her for a family trip to Hershey Park etc. There were 9 of us in total. I had read the previous reviews and was concerned. However upon arrival we checked in with the manager who was very nice and accomadating and showed us the rooms before we payed. In fact we changed two rooms with no problems to ensure we were all on same side of hotel. There was I admit an unusual funky odor in the hallway but it was probably lack of AC in the hallway and wasn't that unpleasant. For the price I thought the rooms were OK They were of a class I would expect with economy motels and we had AC and a working TV, I thought the beds were comfortable and so did all of our party. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms and showers were basic but clean. The outdoor pool was good and we used it for a couple of hours upon arrival it was very welcome in 90+ heat. All in all I would recommend this motel to anyone who is in that area on a budget. The owner and his family were very welcoming and friendly. The nearest restaurant was Dukes just across the road a bit and was very good on price and food was pretty good.

In a pinch it will do

The people were nice but the hotel was pretty bad. The pool was in good shape. The room smelled the bathroom was kind of clean andthe beds were not very comfortable at all.

Motel 6 (Cocoa Nights Motel)

Went to Hershey Park so out from morning until night. Basic room, good enough for sleeping after a long day. Did have a new TV, bathroom had slightly moldy shower curtain, small towels, a hair on the toilet lid, and very hard to use shower controls. Turn on the hot water all the way & barely touch the cold knob & it would be freezing, touch the other way & too hot. Had to set it for wife & kids. Bring your own soap & shampoo. Not enough parking, get back late & you'll park on the grass somewhere. Served it's purpose for the price though if you plan on being at the park all day.

Superb Motel 6!! You guys are awesome!!

This has to be the sweetest Motel 6 I've ever stayed at! Not sure what the other bad reviewers are talking about because we had an awesome time here. I'm guessing this was before they rehabbed the whole property :/ I usually carry a black light with me to check out hotel rooms and the bedding, etc. but when I see the housekeepers at the hotel using it to check for urine stains, etc,in the bathrooms, I know that the hotel cares about cleanliness and the value of a comfortable stay. That to me was a winner! Also the pool and the outdoor deck were beautiful..we had a barbeque grilling outside as the kids swam in the pool. Drinking a cold beer while the weather is 80 degrees out is so refreshing. Overall, this hotel is a gem, the owners have really taken the time to go the extra mile on amenities and upgrading the appeal of the hotel and thats doing wonders for satisfied guests like me :)

The worst is the best to say.

Went to spend the weekend at Hershey Park. The hotel was dirty, and smelled really bad. I resereved 2 rooms with 2 double beds and when arrived had 1 room had 2 double beds the other had double bed and single cot. then no air condition or windows in the one room and in the othe the window was broke and so was the dresser.

DISGRACE

I would NEVER stay here. My husband son and I arrive in Hershey and we called the hotel for directions. Then they told us they had NO rooms avabile. We made reservations one month in advance. Then they put us up in a econo lodge 30 miles from Hershey that was a complete DUMP. My eighteen month old son never got to go to Hershey this is one of worst trips ever.

The Most Amazing Motel 6 I've ever stayd

Looking at the reviews on this hotel, my wife and I were very skeptical of this place but we said oh well, lets give it a try...to our PLEASANT surprise, they indeed did fully renovate this hotel. I'm talking Beautiful carpets in rooms so soft my wife took her shoes off and walked barefoot, large TVs, micro fridges, fresh paint, nice clean bathrooms. The staff is the best I've ever experienced at a Motel 6, looks like a family owned operation, but the facility is gorgeous now! A definite stay the next time we are coming, especially for such amazing rates!! Keep up the great work guys... Oh, by the way, Italian Restaurant across the street is a sweet spot to eat at too (take my word, order Chicken Stromboli ;D ) Overall, A GREAT REASONABLY PRICED VACATION!
