Residence Inn by Marriott Harrisburg Hershey

The hotel was about 15 min. from Hershey, so it was very convenient. 3 Kids and they loved the pool.

Room was clean & updated. Check in staff & housekeeping staff were very friendly. However- we stayed 4 nights & every morning we had more & more bites on our arms & legs. We checked out early & moved to a different hotel once I did research & realized we were being bitten by bed bugs. I spent vacation time & money to wash everything we had in between hotels. We also tossed lots of items that couldn't be washed & had to throw food out that was in our Residence Inn room fridge. I wouldn't be writing this review if the manager & head maintenance employee didn't tell me we must be having an alergic reaction & don't have bed bug bites. I wear a tshirt to bed & have bites ALL over my arms & legs. None on my back or stomach. My 9 year old daughter slept in undies only & has the bites on her back & stomach as well as arms & legs. I have never gotten anything like this before. These are clearly bites & look & act exactly like photos in research online. The bites are worse on day 2 & 3 than on day 1 so it was hard to determine the exact time & place of bites at first. However, on our 3rd day we were so miserable we didn't go ANYWHERE outside. I didn't realize yet that the bites were coming from INSIDE THE ROOM while we slept. The next morning after not leaving the room for 36 hours we had new bites like crazy. I'm writing this review solely so that someone who encounters the same situation in this hotel will know they have bed bug bites & won't feel bullied by the staff who is unwilling to take responsibility. With the number of bites we have gotten there is no way they haven't had previous complaints. (Note: The hotel manager did give me a small credit back to my credit card- although with the living hell we are still enduring with the itching & embarrassing bites everywhere, washing everything & tossing so much stuff to prevent bringing them home- they should have refunded my stay. But I'm hoping they at least are taking every step to get the bugs removed for future customers)

Staff was very friendly, room and common areas were clean and neat. I'd stay at theis facility again.

Great location, not far from Hersey Park and Gettysburg which our family enjoyed. Staff gave great suggestions for different places to go and dine. They also gave us places to go and enjoy off the beaten path.

We were in town for the Hershey Flea Market and Car Show. Everything about our stay was great: the location, room, staff, and service. I would stay there again and have recommended it to my friends.

my husband was there for a class and the rest of us goofed around and hung out. very comfortable and enough space to relax. breakfast was convenient and included hot and cold items. the rooms were well kept and clean, and the beds were actually very comfortable. the location was right off of a main highway. we enjoyed the inside pool (which was a bit cold) and hot tub. the staff was very kind and helpful. we would stay again and again.

This hotel has two pools... one is indoors and the other is outdoors. Both pools are 3-5ft deep. Both pools offer complimentary towels. Both pool areas have hot tubs. Very clean hotel. Free complimentary breakfast. Free parking. Rooms are very nice. We had a two-bedroom loft (offering 2 queen size beds, double-sofabed, 2 bathrooms, 3 TV's, a full kitchen with all amentities). We will definitely stay at this hotel again!
